Chapter 19

Levi's POV:

Tonight was the Liberio Festival hosted by the Tybur family. The Survey Corps have a plan to surprise attack the Marleyan military. A lot of lives will be ended by the Survey Corps. But if my speculations are correct, a lot more are about to die. Because of Eren. I knew it from the beginning. That brat will bring nothing but death and destruction to this world. I really thought I could've stopped him...

We arrived by airship. Judging by the explosions and the screaming, we knew what we were about to face.

Eren's POV:

I was being attacked by every angle. The Marleyan military used all their weapons on me. Meanwhile, I had officially come face to face with the Warhammer Titan. Their hits were getting harder. I quickly covered my nape to ensure that nothing could stop me in this fight. But then the Warhammer Titan had blown off my hands. So I decided to show my face to the Marleyans.

"Eren Jaeger," the Titan began, "before you die, you may earn your final words."

I wasn't afraid. But when I knew what was coming. I knew they'd be on their way.

"It's time, Mikasa." Mikasa flew in midair and sent thunder spears exploding at the Warhammer Titan's nape. Once the Titan was weakened, Mikasa had come to me and looked with a sad face. "Glad to see that all of you made it."

"Please, Eren," she pleaded, "come home." I saw the hurt in her eyes. I missed her. But I have a mission to fulfill no matter what.

"It's not over, Mikasa." I directed my eyes back at the Warhammer Titan. They were lifting themselves back up. Mikasa gasped.

"I blew up the nape of its neck."

"And I crushed its nape with all of my strength, yet it's still alive." The Warhammer shot a spear through my Titan's body but Mikasa grabbed me and maneuvered us away. "I think I get it now. The Warhammer Titan uses hardening to make whatever it needs. If this works, I'll be able to take the Warhammer." I stood up from bending on one knee and began to formulate a plan.
I knew that something was off. There was something abnormal about the way the Warhammer materialized. It was the first time I had seen a Titan form from the feet up.

I had realized where the Warhammer's body was so I jumped off the roof and bit my hand to turn into a Titan. I grabbed the root planted into the ground and pulled it up to reveal the holder of the Warhammer. I had my mouth open wide, preparing to devour the hardening body. But then suddenly, there was another Titan on my back. The Jaw Titan.

"Eren!" I heard Mikasa scream. I saw a flash of blood in front of my face, thankful that Mikasa was coming to help.

Wait...

It wasn't Mikasa.

It was him.

Levi.

He was here.

I was distracted. I couldn't keep my eyes off him. He hadn't changed a bit. Unfortunately, the Warhammer realized I was caught off guard and used her hardening to shoot a spear up at my face. But using my own hardening, I was able to block the hit. Stupid Levi. Always been in my way.

She didn't have much strength left. So I took the chance to bite into the shell she had created. But it cracked all of my front teeth. She had the same crystal shell as Annie. Once I had realized she had nothing left in her, I left my Titan form and jumped out to form another. But it seemed like the Jaw Titan wasn't done. He had sharp teeth and even sharper claws. That's how I was going to get the Warhammer's powers.

Levi's POV:

There he was. Taking on 2 of the 9 Titans at once. He was more powerful than before. Of course he was. It's been 4 years. I was watching him closely. Once I had seen one of the Titan's jump on his back, I immediately took action. And he noticed me. I know he noticed me. I think I made my decision right then and there once I stared at that god damned thing he turned himself into. But I distracted him. He nearly lost his head because of me.
