Eren's POV:

Armin left soon after, still upset. Mikasa and I planned on talking to him tomorrow. We needed to figure out a way to explain this to him without sounding crazy. He'll probably think we're playing some sick prank on him. He was telling my mom how he's never had friends before and was really shocked that I even talked to him. I need to fix this. But for now, Mikasa and I were still asking questions and vice versa.

"How much do you remember?" My father asked.

"I remember when the Titans attacked our home."

"Shiganshina." Mikasa said.

"Bless you." I replied.

"No, that was the name of the city we lived in." She shook her head. "How much do you remember, Dr. Jaeger?" She couldn't bring herself to call him by his first name so he didn't pester her about it.

"Probably more than I want to." He sighed.

"Can you not tell us?" I asked.

He shook his head. "It seems like you both only remember things that had happened at the age you're at now. Eren, I think that once you turned 8, which was the start of it all, is when we started to get these memories."

"I wonder who else could see them. I don't even know anyone else because the only people in my life were you guys and Armin. The confusing part for me is that my parents aren't even my parents. I just have a twin brother and a single mother." Mikasa said.

"Twin brother? Where did your father go?"

"Yeah, his name is Levi."

My head started to pound again. She had brought him up before at lunch and it hurt this bad last time too.

"He must be important." I groan, smushing in the sides of my head. "Because whenever you bring him up, my head feels like it's going to explode."

"Levi is your twin brother?" My father was confused.

"Can we stop saying his name?" I shout, ready to fall on the floor.

"I'm sorry." Mikasa said. "But my father left us at a young age. It's just my mother now."

I need to make sure I never meet her brother or else I'll probably pass out.

"Okay so let's go over this again." My father started. He was taking notes the entire time and flipped to the page he started at. "The timeline would be starting with Eren giving you the scarf, Mikasa. This was after your parents were killed and you killed their murderers. You both remember that, correct?" We nod. For a bunch of kids, we were absolutely ruthless. "You both remember running through the field with Armin with you. Eren, that was your drawing." I nod again. "Then you remember the day the Colossal Titan broke Wall Maria releasing the Titans into Shiganshina which then led to your mother getting eaten by the Titan you drew in your notebook." He said looking at me. We both nod again. "Now Eren, I'm not necessarily sure how you remember flying."

"There was some sort of military. They had this equipment that allowed them to fight with swords."

"The Military Police." My father answered.

"The Scout Regiment." Mikasa corrected.

My father wrote that down. "Mikasa, you must remember more than Eren."

"That's as far as my memory goes. I think it has to do with...him." She was referring to her brother. "Because I do faintly remember him. He isn't a nobody."

"Do you think he remembers anything?"

"Hard to tell. He's super quiet. I'm quiet too, but he barely even speaks."

"Any reason?"

Mikasa just shrugged. "If he's the person I've seen flashes of, it doesn't make much sense to me."

Soon later, Mikasa's mother came to pick her up. We said our goodbyes and I went back into my father's study.

"Tell me what you see." I demanded as appropriately as I could for an 8 year old without being reprimanded.

"I'm just afraid it will scare you, son." He sighed.

"Tell me."

"I was a Titan. The Attack Titan. There are 9 Titans to be specific. Yes, the discombobulated ones are Titans but not like these. Those ones are called abnormals. These 9 each held a different purpose and had a different type of power. There was the Attack, the Armored, the Colossal, the Jaw, the Beast, the Cart, the Female, the Warhammer, and the Founding Titan."

"Do you think these people remember?"

"Possibly..."

It would make sense for him to remember, but now it makes even less sense for me and Mikasa. I wish I could remember more. Of course my stupid memory only comes back at the same age I'm at now.

Grow up already, Eren.
