Eren's POV:

Today we had an art lesson. Drawing is definitely one of my favorite things to do. Mrs. Braus said she was going to hang our artwork on the wall so I felt the need to be the best. I grabbed a colored pencil and started to draw what came to mind. I almost started to draw one of the monsters I see but I didn't want to scare anyone. So I started to draw a tree. The one I saw in the field of flowers with me, Mikasa, and Armin running through it. I didn't draw them only because we haven't yet officially become friends yet and I didn't want to freak them out. I wanted to see what Armin and Mikasa were making but their desks were too far away. I tried to stretch up out of my desk but it was no use. I continued my work by grabbing a couple shades of blue.

My head started to ache again. The biggest monster yet had just flashed in my head. He was huge! He was taller than the walls he was behind. It was almost like he had no skin. It was horrifying. He must've been the leader of those monsters I keep seeing. But as it usually does, it went away. So I just continued.

By the time I was done, I raised my hand for Mrs. Braus to walk over.

"I finished." I smiled. She looked at the shades of blue and green with pink and white flowers. I was proud of the way I drew different clouds and how I tried to make the tree look more realistic by drawing random lines on it.

"This is fantastic, Eren!" She picked up my artwork and taped it to the wall next to the others. From what I was seeing, I had the best one. That was until Mrs. Braus hung up Mikasa's.

It was a house in the woods at night with stars and a moon on the right side. There was a small fire and she drew the sparks flying up above. But then it was her sitting on a bench. She had a red scarf around her neck. She was sitting next to a boy. It almost looked like me. Was it?

My head started to throb again. It was almost as if that image came to life in my head.

"You can have this. It's warm, right?"

"It's warm."

My eyes shot open at the memory and I stared at Mikasa. She looked back at me with no emotion. Meanwhile, I looked like I had just seen a ghost.

Lunch came around and I sat right across from her.

"Hey, how're you feeling?" Mikasa softly asked.

"How is this happening?" I cut right to the chase. If she was able to draw that picture, we must be having the same thing.

"What?" She was confused. I don't blame her. I have a habit of coming on a little strong.

"Hey, Eren." Armin smiled and sat down next to Mikasa with his lunchbox. He unzipped it and passed me a small bag of cookies. "I asked my grandpa to pack me a few extras for you because I know you weren't feeling well yesterday."

Does Armin see these things too?

"Thanks." I smiled.

"You're welcome." He smiled back. But then I looked back at Mikasa who still had no emotion on her face. Even sipping her juice box, she didn't seem phased.

"Your drawing." I said.

"What about it?" She asked, taking another sip.

"That's us." That caught her off guard. She probably thought I wouldn't notice. But how could I not notice it when that actually happened somewhere. "Mikasa, I have a crazy question." She nodded for me to continue. "Do you ever get flashes of images in your head? Things that happened in a past life or something?"

"You might wanna get that checked out." Armin seemed worried. I guess that eliminates the question if he could see these things or not.

"What are you seeing?" She asked, seeming more interested than before.

"Monsters. Big ones. Some run weird. One smiles really big...it ate my mom." I mumbled that last part. "Another one is massive and it peaks over these walls. There's a whole city behind them. And-and we can fly. You, me, Armin. But I drew the last thing I remember. It was all of us running through that field with all the flowers."

"Eren, who are your parents?"

My parents? Why does she want to know who my parents are?

"Carla and Grisha Jaeger. My dad's a-"

"Doctor." She cut me off. That's enough for me to know she's seeing what I'm seeing. But how? "Does he know about this?"

"A little, why?"

"Just curious." She sipped her juice box until there was nothing left.

"Am I missing something?" Armin asked. "I kinda don't wanna be left out."

"I can give you both my mom's number. We should have a play date." I slightly changed the subject.

"When?" Armin jumped with excitement.

"Tonight."
