So this chapter is going to be a little different, there will be a lot of jumping around and broken up smaller sections in a montage-like sequence. Something else to note is that this will set up a lot of the differences in strength and teamwork the core group of Harrison, Salter, and Jalter have. If you wish to treat it more like the time skip from one piece and be surprised by the new abilities of each member I suggest you skip this chapter, if not then I will get out of your way so you enjoy that sweet training goodness.

. . . EX Briefing: MODEL Overview

Each member had their own training style in influencing Harrison's growth as a magus. Salter, Jalter, Sakata, and Archer tended to lead more towards his physical aspects, while Yor, Annabelle, and BB focused on his mental fortitude and other precision-based studies all while Harrison continued to attend school. Though that is a gross oversimplification as oftentimes there was a lot of cross-over or collaboration team exercises. That was another thing Salter, and Jalter, despite everyone telling Harrison heroic spirits couldn't gain new skills or increase their power, trained and perfected their skill and abilities further. In Harrison's mind if accessions, np level-ups, generic level-ups, skill rank-ups, interludes, and rank-up quests could be done in FGO then why couldn't Salter and Jalter do something similar now? Also, Salter had an ability he had never seen in the cannon before, Flames of Dread that had to mean something.

Those were paltry thoughts, however, that didn't distract him nearly as much as he wanted from the agony of his muscles as once again Sakata put him through quite possibly the hardest strength training imaginable. Harrison would be forced to do full-body exercises in a full body weight suit, and Annabelle now that his "cheating" was discovered. It wasn't cheating to Harrison he had just made use of his strengthening magic to increase his muscular output but that was a no-go, and so now Annabelle always tagged along cutting off his access to mana. He had no idea how she was able to do it, something about his magic circuits and hers being very similar, Harrison didn't pay a lot of attention as when she explained it he had been on the brink of collapse. Another side effect of this training was increasing the amount of mana Harrison could access from his reserves.

Salter meanwhile trained to perfect her control on her saint graph shifting trying to maintain shifted forms for longer, however, she seemed unable to bring out the Lancer version of herself. Only able to obtain the rider saint graph, though she was becoming quite potent with it, especially with the connection she now held with Harrison, that even Yor was amazed at. In her own words, "That is a thick enough sympathy connection to host 10 other servants, Harrison you shouldn't even be alive," yet he was and barely even felt the pull as days went on. Not only this but Salter spared both Archer and Jalter every day as they all improved their swordsmanship. Jalter more so than any other as she became similar to a wild animal than a swordsman.

Furthermore, Jalter mainly trained in secret outside of the sparring matches with other servants or Harrison. However, sparing with heroic spirits felt more like a cutscene of Harrison getting his ass beat. Jalter's justification for leaving was something along the lines of "It is too embarrassing," or "I need quiet to focus," whenever she was prompted on exactly what she did. Despite Harrison's original worry that she was just slacking off, Salter reassured him that she had noticed a considerable improvement in her ability and she was sure that Jalter was training just as hard as the rest of them.

Though Harrison endured all sorts of hell for example what was mentioned previously as Sakata's full-body strength exercises which may or may not have included running miles while carrying pounds of gold on his back as it will make Harrison, "A GOLDEN CHILD BABY!" Archer trained Harrison's reaction time and durability. Which involved more running, well mainly dodging, as he would take shot after shot at Harrison as he tried to survive for as long as he could. Of course, Archer being the sadistic person he was, any one of the arrows to any part of Harrison's body would strike with so much force it would knock him unconscious from pain alone instantly. Then there was Salter who continued to teach him the unarmed combat style in between sparing matches, thankfully Salter was more of a teacher than any of the others and her idea of training wasn't just "beat up Harrison". Jalter on the other was the polar opposite as she always went 100 percent against Harrison or at least that is what it felt like as her blinding speed and power absolutely trounced anything he could do without his magic circuits, and even with them, he would only be a cheap imitation.
