It was finally the day, the day everyone had been waiting for. The morning of the coveted U.A. sports festival had arrived. Izuku sat at the front of his door, putting on his shoes as his mother watched from behind him.
"Izuku, be careful not to get hurt, okay?" Inko said worryingly.
"Okay mom." Izuku replied.
"I'll record the whole thing, okay? In high resolution!" Inko stated.

"Thanks mom." Izuku replied as he stood and headed towards the door. "Well, I'm off."
Inko flashes Izuku a confidant smile as he turned to face her.
"Do your best, show them what you can do!" Inko said excitedly.

Izuku approached Inko and gave her a long hug before letting go.
"Of course I will, just watch me mom...!" Izuku said to Inko. "I'll win the whole thing for you to see!"

Inko nods her head in response. Izuku then dashes out the door as Inko let out a breath of worry. Izuku makes his normal commute from his house to U.A, sprinting towards the station with excitement and joy as he thought about the festival.
"Today's finally the day of the festival! I'm so excited, I can barely keep myself contained!" Izuku thought to himself as he narrowly dodged a group of high school girls, who shriek a bit at the sudden encounter. "Sorry about that!"
