-ON THE BUILDING OF A ROOFTOP-
Fumikage stands on the edge of a building, gazing at the scenery of the city as the wind passes by him.
"How's the view?" Hawks asked as he approached Fumikage. "Nice place to just let your wings loose, right?"
Fumikage looks back and sees Hawks walking towards him.
"Careful where you stand. Might just slip and fall off. Happens more than you think." Hawks said to Fumikage. "Sorry about the weird meeting place, hope you didn't have trouble finding this place."
"Not at all, but I was surprised that you'd ask me to meet you at a place like this instead of at your agency." Fumikage asked. "This is quite far from where your prefecture is based in, isn't it?"
"It's a little out there for sure. But this is one of my favorite spots to come and just unwind for a bit." Hawks said as he joined Fumikage on the building's edge. "I come here whenever there's a lot on my mind and just spread my wings in pace for a bit."
"I see..." Fumikage replied as he looked out at the scenery of Osaka alongside Hawks.
"Just look at that view, amazing; isn't it?" Hawks asked. "Really just melts your stress away, doesn't it? Feeling the wind on your face,"
"I didn't realize that someone like you could get stressed." Fumikage replied. "You always seem so calm and approachable whenever I see your videos online.
"Ah, you know how it is with fame. The wild fans, the online gossip, the crazy rumors made by some of my biggest haters. This is somewhere I can get away from it all." Hawks replied. "I mean, the adoring fans and support are nice and all; but I like my privacy whenever I can get it."
Hawks looks over to Fumikage, seeing him standing as stiff as a board; remaining silent and continuing to stare out into the city.
"You look nervous. Ease up a bit, people can tell when you're tense like that you know. Heroes have to be able to calm the populace with just their presence alone." Hawks said to Fumikage as he tapped him on his back. "Got something you wanna say?"
"... Why did you choose me?" Fumikage asked. "I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but there are plenty of other more capable students in my class, so... I was just curious as to why you chose me out of everyone."
"Hmm... I guess if I had to answer that one, it'd be because..." Hawks said to Fumikage. "Birds of a feather flock together after all."
"Huh?" Fumikage asked Hawks stepped off of the building's ledge, quickly hovering back up as he moved in front him.
"Those who can fly, should fly. And you Tsukuyomi... Have yet to even try to start flying." Hawks said to Fumikage. "You know, the sky's a great place to just loiter around for a bit. You can get a bird's-eye view of everything when you're as high as the clouds are. A bird like you shouldn't be confined to the ground like everyone else. You're wasting your potential just standing there instead of being up here with me."
"My potential...?" Fumikage asked.
"It's good to put effort into covering your short-range weaknesses, but you shouldn't ever forget about developing at what you specialize in too." Hawks replied. "You can move more freely than you may think. Those other guys might be interested in training the next generation or something like that, but me? I'm a simple guy. I'm just here to tell you that there's no need to be confined to the ground."
Hawks plucks out one of his feathers and sets it into the city, allowing it to flow freely into the city along the currents of the wind.
"Stick with me and I'll show you just how high you can really fly out here." Hawks replied. "And who knows? You might just end up seeing an entirely new world once you do."
