Look at it. Just look at it. I've never seen anything more beautiful in my life. Well, maybe Kazuki, but he's not a thing. I want to buy it. I wanna buy it! But I already spent money today! Oh, God, let it be free!

"Mori?"

"Huh?" I blink back to see Kazuki watching me closely.

"What's wrong? Do you want something in there?"

"I-It's nothing..." I look away, too embarrassed to face him after earlier today.

"What is it?" he pressures, and I can't help but give in.

"A bag charm of one of my favorite characters," I admit begrudgingly. "But I already spent a lot of money today..."

"I'll get it," he decides promptly, starting into the store.

"Wait, what?" I run after him, but he's already picked up Ichiro and is examining him.

"He kinda looks like me," he murmurs and I remember the thought I had when I first met Kazuki; he's just like Ichiro. From the tough shell that hides a soft and sweet boy to the orange hair, they could be twins in personality and looks.

"You seriously don't have to get it," I remind him.

"It's a thank you for helping me back there," he explains softly. "I know it was hard for you to do, but I appreciate it. So I'm getting this."

"Okay." I don't really know what else to say other than that. I guess what I did affected him more than it seemed earlier when we were eating lunch. I like the way Kazuki silently accepts things but still lets them affect him. He's not an empty shell and he's not a jerk. He's just a genuinely sweet guy.

"Here." Kazuki brings back the bag charm after paying and hands me it, bringing me out of my thoughts. I turn it over in my palm, grinning like a kid. Somehow, buying things in person feels so much better than buying them online.

"Thank you."

He shrugs. "It wasn't that much."
