"It seems weird saying goodnight to you when I'm waiting for the kids to get home from school."
"I know but I'm sorry I can't keep my eyes open."
"Don't be sorry doll, it's late, and you've had a busy day. I think I'm gonna have to take an ambian or something tonight. I never sleep well away from you."
"Hardly! I got the Christmas decorations out ready for this weekend and did some housework. God I'm so lazy when I'm not working. Oh darling. I hate sleeping without you too. You should try and relax once the kids are in bed, go to bed early. Don't stay up late."
"I'll try. Anyway you've had a busy year doll don't be hard on yourself, enjoy this restful time."
"Anyway I miss you."
"God I miss you more. 7 days to go darling."
"I can't wait. Christmas can officially begin once we are reunited"
"Absolutely. It will be the best one yet. What are your plans tomorrow?"
"Nothing much actually, I think we may all go do the pub quiz at The Bear. Classic Thursday! Other than that nothing."
"Nice. Make sure you relax."
"I'm sure I can manage that, right I'm literally falling asleep J."
"Night my darling. Dream of me."
"I intend to."
"Love you so much."
"I love you more Johnny."

The ringing of her phone was disturbing her delicious dream of Johnny and her naked. She slowly rolled over and grabbed it off the bedside table, and with her eyes still closed she answered it expecting it to be Johnny, a number of days this week he had forgotten about the time difference but she didn't really care as she missed him intensely.
"Hello." She mumbled
"Lex? Oh thank god."
"Kate. What the hell? It's the middle of the night."
"Babe it's 6:30am"
"Ok so it's fucking early then. What do you want?"
"Just do me a favour, do not look at your phone until I get to you ok?"
"What, why?"
"Lexie just promise me you'll hang up and stay exactly where you are until I arrive. I'm only 5 minutes away."
"Ok, you're acting strange. Use your key I'm not getting out of bed."
"Sure thing, do not move, promise me?"
"I promise,"
"And DO NOT look at your phone."
"Kate I won't."

Lexie slowly sat up in bed rubbing her face. She was tired and confused at the strange behaviour of her best friend. She put the lamp on and reached for her phone out of habit, but she had promised not to look at it so in the end gave up, grabbing her fluffy dressing gown from the end of the bed she put it on and headed downstairs to make coffee. If Kate was on her way over at 6:30 in the morning they were going to need it. Finally as the coffee was ready, she heard a car and then a key in the door. "Hello.." Kate said loudly, "you better have good reason to have me awake at this time Henderson! I'm in the kitchen!" Lexie yelled back. She wandered into the living area and saw her best friend and mother stood there. "Mum? What are you doing here?" "Darling, how about you come and sit down for a moment?" "What's going on?" Lexie placed the mugs of coffee down on the table and put her hands on her hips. "I think it's best if you come sit with us and we tell you." "Mum you're scaring me, what is it? Is it Johnny? The kids? Is it Nanna?" "Darling, calm down it's ok. Everything will be ok.." Lizzie wandered over to her daughter and took her hand, guiding her to sit down on the couch. Kate joined on the other side of Lexie, and took a deep breath.

"We aren't sure on details yet, nobody really knows what's happened, but there's a situation." Her mother started. "The main thing is, we will get answers and hopefully soon. You just have to bare with everyone ok.." Kate continued. Lexie didn't know what to think. "We haven't been able to get hold of Johnny yet. I assume he's asleep or in the studio." "Just tell me what's happened." Lexie said sternly bracing herself. "Somebody has leaked your medical records. Somebody sold the story of your miscarriage and it's everywhere." Lizzie blurted out. "It broke overnight. I got a phone call about an hour ago from YMU, they are doing all they can but it appears your medical records were leaked from Chelsea and Westminster." Lexie couldn't believe what she was hearing. She could barely speak because of the shock. "What?" "I'm so sorry darling, I'm so sorry that somebody could be this cruel." Immediately tears filled Lexie's eyes. She was only just coming to terms with the idea of the miscarriage and now it had been told to the world and not even in hers or Johnny's words. Just the tabloids. "I want to see." Lexie said calmly. "No I don't think that's a good idea." Lizzie said, "Please mum I have a right to know what they are saying." "I'll grab my laptop out the car. YMU said they were going to round up some of the stuff and send it to me anyway." Lexie nodded and her best friend left the house. "Mumma why does everyone hate me? It's because I'm with Johnny isn't it?" Lizzie sighed and brushed her daughter's hair out her face. "Oh sweetie, nobody hates you. Anyone who knows you couldn't possibly hate you. Sadly, there is some absolute scum out there who thrive on causing anguish and pain. As for Johnny, he's the nicest guy I think we could have ever chosen for you. He loves you, he adores you and my goodness does he want what's best for you. Don't ever let the world's opinion tarnish your relationship. He needs you as much as you need him." She kissed her daughter's head before Kate returned. She placed her laptop on the coffee table and opened it. As she found an email she clicked on it and opened it and a long list of headlines were sitting in front of them.
