Growing Family

After we finally caught up with one another we walked out of the tent towards Arthur and told him it would only be fair if Garreth knew as well. We asked Ominis and Sebastian to give us a private moment inside.

Arthur explained to them how he managed to survive and everything that had happened.

"What?!" Garreth stood there with his mouth wide open.

"Yes I am alive and well"

"I'm so happy for you Emi!" Garreth hugged me tightly and then gasped. "Does this mean I have another brother?" He hugged Jasper tightly causing him to let out a low groan.

"Gareth!" Arthur said sternly.

"No no, it's alright" Jasper laughed. "I've always wanted a younger brother" he hugged Garreth back lifting him off the ground. We all laughed.

"He fits right in" Gareth teased.

"How so?" Arthur questioned.

"Our family are huggers and boy was that a hug" we all laughed again as Jasper blushed.

"Yeah I've noticed you guys hug very often" he laughed. Soon mom got up as well and hugged him tightly.

"My sweet boy... you've been through so much. I am sorry people in this world can be so cruel and so vile. You were just a child and didn't deserve that fate" Jasper had tears form and he quickly wiped them away.

"Thank you Mrs. Weasley"

"You know people at school always talked about how scared they were to approach you. They said you always seemed angry and not to mention headmaster Blacks nephew, but you are softer than a puffskein ..ouch!" Arthur punched his arm.

"It's alright. I didn't want anyone near me. I didn't trust anyone, but I'm trusting you guys." He smiled.

We walked back outside and I found Ominis with corn spilled all over him. "Ominis are you okay!"

"Yes my love I just had a bit of a tumble. I think I tripped on something" I helped him pick up all the corn and then I placed a kiss on his cheek.

"You are wonderful Ominis" he blushed.

"As are you" he placed a gentle kiss on my lips.

"Ewww am I going to have to witness this everyday now?" Ominis glared at Sebastian as I laughed.

Ominis snaked his arms around my waist and placed a ton of kisses all over my face "yes Sebastian you get to witness how incredibly in love I am with this girl" Sebastian laughed as Arthur coughed. Ominis let go quickly and blushed.

"Lunch is ready" we walked inside to eat some sandwiches mom had made for us. I sat next to Jasper and smiled at him. Ominis sat in front of me with a look of confusion on his face.

"Hey Jasper I was wondering if you would like to go on a broom ride with me later?"

"Of course I'd love too Penelope"

"Princess have you no shame?" I looked over at Sebastian who dramatically looked like he was performing in an opera.  "Trying to steal tips from our best quidditch player. You already have Aria and Arthur to help with that. Do you know how much harder Imelda will train us if she found out"

"I meant a normal flight to talk. No training" I laughed.

"You think I'm the best?" Jasper smirked at Sebastian.

"Of course! Don't be ridiculous mate! Have you seen how you fly on your broom. I can't believe you turned down being our captain every year!"

"I'm right here you know?" Arthur chuckled.

"Yeah you're amazing too but have you seen Jasper? The man is a legend. A myth. It's like Merlin himself sculpted him by hand with perfection" I snorted as Sebastian becoming a fan boy.

"Yes I know he is good. I've been playing with him every year Sebastian."

"I'm sorry Artie, but Jasper here would annihilate you in a second"

"You're only saying that because he's in Slytherin"

"Arthur is pretty good too. I've always butted heads with him on the field" Jasper chuckled.

"How about we have a friendly match tomorrow?" Sebastian smiled.

"That's a great idea"  Arthur said as I frowned knowing that meant Ominis would be left out.

"Fine it will be me and Jasper vs you and Penelope" Arthur suggested.

"No fair you can't have 2 captain material men on one team" Sebastian whined.

"Me and Penelope will be on a team then" Jasper chuckled as Sebastian frowned. Arthur wrapped an arm around Sebastian.

"Me and Ominis will be cheerleaders" Garreth said happily.

"Garreth would you rather play?" I asked.

"You know what? Since I didn't join the team this year that does sound pretty tempting. You sure you don't want to play?"

"Yeah I'm sure" I looked at Ominis who had a smile forming on his lips.

"Alright then Slytherin Vs Gryffindor!" Garreth pumped his fist in the air.

After lunch me and Jasper got our brooms and headed out for some bonding time.

Ominis POV

"Ominis do you have a moment sweetheart?"

"Yes Mrs. Weasley" I walked over to her and we washed the dishes together.

"I'm glad you and Penelope care for one another so much" I felt a blush forming on my cheeks.

"Yes we umm confessed our love to one another at the ball" I felt her place a hand on my shoulder.

"Im very happy for the both of you congratulations" I smiled.

"Thank you"

"Since the last time you were here I was rooting for that day to come. You reminded me much of me and my husband when we were around your age. I saw the way you held her while you danced at the wedding and how she made you feel included in everything. You two almost seem like you were made for one another"

"Thank you that means so much. I've been meaning to ask you if it was alright for me to court Penelope officially"

"You will always have my blessing Ominis. I know you will take good care of my little girl" I smiled. Now I just had to ask Garreth and Arthur.

I sat on the porch with Sebastian as I waited for them to return from the market.

"So Ominis how was it?"

"Not this again Sebastian" he chuckled.

"So you're telling me after all that she's not your girlfriend? I think you're way past that Ominis"

"Well I want to do it right. I want to be a gentleman and ask for her family's blessing to court her"

"You weren't a gentleman a couple nights ago, and you're acting like you are going to marry her Ominis. All your doing is making her your girlfriend"

"Shut up Sebastian"

"Isn't this something you do before you bed her" he kept laughing.

"Well yes you are right. I was going to ask her before but one thing led to another and we made love. Afterwards I was going to but we were tired and I fell asleep, and in the morning well you ruined the moment" I glared at his direction as he laughed.

"Merlin Ominis no one says make love and well I'm pretty sure you are together you don't need to ask her"

"I'm not like you Sebastian. I want to ask her out properly" I felt him squeeze my shoulder.

"I know Ominis. You are a very kind guy. I'm jealous of you. I want to find a girl that will steal my heart and make me feel what you and Penelope feel for one another" I smiled.

"You will one day if you stopped messing around" we both laughed.
