Love is in the air

A couple days went by since the ball and I couldn't be happier. I was dating the boy I had fallen for long ago and soon I'd be telling him who I really am. My heart fluttered at the thought. He wouldn't feel guilt anymore and I'm pretty sure he'd be happy to find out I'm okay.

As I walked down the hall I smiled softly at Wendy. She had been avoiding me lately and Sebastian had been doing the same to her. Wendy returned the smile with a small wave before she continued to walk.

As soon as I saw Ominis my face lit up and I ran towards him. "My even when you run you still drag your feet" I gasped as he chuckled.

"Ominis" I laughed as I playfully punched his arm. He grabbed me firmly by my waist pulling me into him. He kissed my head as he held me in a tight embrace.

"I can't get enough of you" he whispered near my ear. My face became red and I could feel my self sweating. "I'm blind but even I can tell how you became all flustered under my touch" he gave my hip a little squeeze before releasing me. I was left speechless. Ominis had somehow found this new confidence in him and became more bold. I definitely liked it and I found it rather attractive.

We continued to walk down the hall with our hands interlinked with on another. I couldn't stop smiling as we walked towards the great hall. My smile soon faded when I saw Sebastian leaned up against the wall flirting with another girl. It made my blood boil how he seemed to have been in love with Wendy, and now he acts like she never existed. "Sweetheart any tighter and my hand will definitely fall off...It's Sebastian isn't it?" Ominis looked towards me with concern.

"Yes it is. I can't believe he did that to Wendy. I thought he actually liked her." I glared at him as we walked past.

"I know my love, but it's Sebastian we are talking about and he isn't the type to be with one girl. Trust me I'm pretty angry myself. Wendy isn't the type of girl to play with like the rest." He squeezed my hand as we sat down. I started putting food on his plate as we waited for the others to arrive.

"Pen for Christmas mom wants us to bring everyone we possibly can" Arthur came from behind shoving moms letter in my face. I quickly skimmed it and smiled. "Meaning Sebastian, Ominis, and Jasper". He squeezed Ominis Shoulder.

"That would be nice." Ominis chuckled as he looked down at his plate. "I know Sebastian wouldn't say no to your mother either" he turned towards Arthur's direction smiling.

"Oh and Wendy and her family would be coming over as well" Arthur said excitedly. "We haven't had people over for Christmas in a while, so I'm pretty happy" he kissed my head and waved goodbye going to find his seat.

Ominis kissed my temple before we began to eat. Jasper and Daria soon joined us as well.

Jasper's POV

"Where is Sebastian and Imelda?" I asked as I took my seat. "Those two are always here bickering" I laughed as I poured more juice in my cup.

"Sebastian is doing his daily rounds" Penelope as she stabbed her eggs aggressively. My eyebrows furrowed at her actions, but I quickly understood the situation.

"Imelda is with Garreth. Something about broom enhancements using potions" I looked over to Ominis.

"Imelda trusting someone with her broom? The witch almost cursed someone for staring at it too long" I gripped my fork.

"Well I mean if it involves flying she will never say no" I loved over to my sister who was practically dying of laughter.

"Her and Garreth have been spending so much time together. I think they might have clicked at the ball" Daria smiled at me. One of my eyebrows raised towards her.
