Pool party Pt 1 (JenLe)

When Jeno was invited to a friend of friends weekend pool party, he knew it would be a disaster. He doesn't swim, he plays bascketball and runs in track but he's not a merman.
He packs his bag and heads to pick up Jaemin his best friend.

"Why are we even going if you are so nervous about the pool?" Jaemin asks, exhausted from hearing about his fears endlessly for the past week.
"Because Junie asked me to." Jaemin scoffs.
"Ok, i don't know who Junie is but if he asked you to jump off a bridge, would you?" He asks sarcastically. Jeno smiles softly and shrugs.
"Probably." Jaemin gives him an incredulous look.
"What? No one Can resist his pout." Jaemin smirks.
"You are so gay." He says laughing, to which Jeno just chuckles.
"About as gay as you are." He says back making Jaemin cackle.
"Do you like him?" He asks as he nudges his side. Jeno rolls his eyes.
"I already told you, he's my friend from psyche class. He's cute but i don't know, we are just friends I guess." Jaemin hums.

When he pulls up to the house he's quite surprised at how massive it actually is. Renjun said his friend was rich but he didn't think he'd be this rich. He sees Renjun waving from the front steps cutely and gains a little more courage. Lucky for him Renjun knows how shy he is and is waiting for him.
"Wait, who's that?" Jaemin asks as they dig their bags from the trunk. Jeno smiles knowingly.
"That my friend, is the one and only Renjun." Jaemin is slack jawed.
"Damn. He's got me and I haven't even seen his pout." Jeno stops him and points to his chest.
"If you make a move? Or ask him out? You better be serious, you guys are both my friends and I care about you." Jaemin pats his shoulder.

"Hey, you know I'm not out here looking for a hook up or anything. I'm just here for fun, if I meet anyone, here or otherwise? You know I don't play." Jeno nods and grabs his stuff.
"I know, I trust you." They walk up and of course for Jaemin it's all over. Renjun smiles prettily and hugs Jeno.
"Thank you so much for coming." Jeno nods and squeezes his waist before pulling away to talk to him.
"This is Jaemin, my friend i was telling you about." Renjun nods and holds his hand out but can't seem to find words at first.
"Th-this is Jaemin? Your ridiculously silly goofball friend?" Jaemin frowns at Jeno.
"That's how you describe me? Not incredibly handsome and smooth with an award winning smile?" Renjun giggles with red cheeks.
"Ok , I see it now." Jaemin nods and smiles cockily until he realizes he's actually talking to Jeno.
"Hey!" He whines. The other two just giggle.

"Come on, meet my friend Chenle."
Jeno nods with a nervous smile and follows him. He's never really liked meeting new people because he's shy but he's doing this for Renjun.
When Renjun notices how slow they are walking he grabs each of their hands and pulls them along. Jaemin's cheeks heat up and Jeno notices right away. He knew he wouldn't be able to resist him.

They walk into the house admiring how nice it is until they get to the kitchen where they see a person bending into the fridge, digging for something.
"Chenle! My friend is here. I want you to meet him." He grumbles but stands up quickly.
"Sorry, hi. I'm Chenle." He says with a bright smile.
"Chenle, this is my friend Jeno from psych that I love so much." Jeno smiles cutely and pinches Renjun's cheek before turning back to the other.
"Hi, Jeno, thank you for coming. Renjun has told me a lot about you." He says keeping perfect eye contact. Jeno can tell he's more of an extrovert but he can't figure out if that's a good thing.
He's introduced to Jaemin before he shows everyone to the guest room on the second floor.
Chenle isn't letting everyone stay at his house the whole weekend, just his and of course Renjun's closest friends, but he is planning a houseful tonight. His parents are out of town for the weekend and honestly
Don't care.

"You two Can sleep in here. Go ahead and wander around, make yourself at home, swim, watch tv? I don't care." Jaemin can see Jeno's relief as he hears the watch tv part. He figured he would be forced into the pool.
"I have to go play host for a while then I'll catch up with you." He says politely.
"So? What do you think?" Renjun asks Jeno making him squint his eyes.
"Why exactly did you invite me here? Are you trying to set me up?" Renjun looks away.
"No, I invited you as my friend. Don't you trust me?" He asks with a pout.
"With that face? No." Jeno says deadpan. Renjun slaps his arm and catches a glimps of Jaemin staring with fond all over his face.
"Maybe you already have someone that likes you?" He whispers, and nudges him to look at Jaemin. He chuckles.
"He's not looking at me like that." He says pointing at Renjun. His face heats up immediately.
