Ms. Myers:  I hope you all are getting these problems. 

Chandler: (putting his pencil down) Done.

Ms. Myers: That's good, Chandler. Why don't we go over the assignment, huh? *Everyone answered yes to Ms. Myers. * Okay, number one. Who got the answer to number? *A few raised their hands, Ms. Myers looked around, and she spotted Erika. * Erika?

Erika: 80%.

Ms. Myers: (writing down the answer) Yes, number one is 80%. Do you all got it right? *They all answered yes to Ms. Myers. * Good. Now, who got number 2? *Ivan raised his hand. * Ivan?

Ivan: 70%.

Ms. Myers: (writing down then answer) Yes, 7/10 equals 70%. I'm glad the calculators I passed out are helping you all.

Leah: yeah, they are.  

Ms. Myers: Number 3: 55/100. Who got the answer to this one? *Chandler raised his hand. * Chandler?

Chandler: 55%.

Ms. Myers: (writing down the answer) That is correct. 55/100 is 55%. Number 4: 83/100. Who knows the answer? *Ella raised her hand. * Yes, Ella?

Ella: It's 83%.

Ms. Myers: (writing down the answer) Yep, 83/100 equals 83%. Now next, 79/100. Who knows the answer to this question?

Chris: (raised his hand) Is it 79%?

Ms. Myers: (writing down the answer) That's correct. 79/100 equals 79%. Now to the next problem, who knows what's the percentage of 65/100? *Timmy raised his hand. * Timmy?

Timmy: 65%.

Ms. Myers: (writing down the answer) That's correct. 65/100 is equal to 65%. Next, 44/100. Who knows that one? *Etta raised her hand. * Etta, what do you got?

Etta: (raised her hand) 44%?

Ms. Myers: That's right. *She writes down the answer. * 44/100 equals 44%. Number 8: 76/100. Who knows the answer to that? *Chelsea raised her hand. * Chelsea?

Chelsea: 76%, Ms. Myers.

Ms. Myers: That's right, Chelsea. *She writes down the answer. * Just two more to go. Number 9: 9/10. Who has the answer to this one? *A few students raised their hands. * Hmm... Joel?

Joel: Is it 90%?

Ms. Myers: (writing down the answer) Yes, Joel. 9/10 equals 90%. Last one: 6/10, who knows the answer to this one? *Jane raised her hand. * Jane?

Jane: Is it 60%?

Ms. Myers: That's right, 60%. *She writes down the answer and faces the class. * That's the answers to the problems on the board. Do you all understand how to turn fractions into percentages? *Everyone answered yes to her. * Good. I would like a volunteer to collect the assignment.
