Scarlet Truther's Revenge (The one that lost hope) Part 2

Gorizilla aftermath, back to school, and heading home from school

After the battle with Gorizilla, everyone was back to their normal society; kids back in school before the last few minutes of class, the Fairies were back at Île aux Cygnes, and Marin is back in the bakery helping out with the rest of the bakery shift. Inside Saint-Jacques Public Elementary School, Ms. Myers watch her students doing something productive it was time to go home. At College Francoise DuPont, Marinette, Adrien, Jessica, Aeon, Jordan, Tyler, and Trinity went back to Mr. Bentley's class. 

Mr. Bentley: Oh good, you're back. I was about to send a search party for you all.

Marinette: We just took cover.

Mr. Bentley: That's good. Well, come sit back down in your seats so you can go back to studying. *They go back to their seats and Mr. Bentley read his book while the students were studying. Chloe sighed and rolled her eyes on studying. *

Chloe: I can't do it. This is way too much material for a 15 year old. *She yawns and put her head down, Samantha rolled her eyes and scowled at Chloe. *

Samantha: Oh no you don't, Chloe. Every time we get put in a study group, you just sit there, doing nothing while the rest of us do all the work. I don't even know why you're even studying with us. 

Chloe: (flipping through her notebook) Oh come on, you guys are better studiers than me and I know you can pull it off.

Mariah: (looking at Chloe) You're gonna read this stuff and study like the rest of us.

Chloe: This is ridiculous, utterly ridiculous.

Brittany: Be quiet and study. Some of us care about their education. *Chloe rolled her eyes and groaned. She looked at her notes and tried to study. *

In Mrs. Stakes' algebra class, Luka made it back to class and his class resume their math lesson.

Mrs. Stakes: Well, after that unexpected Akuma attack.

Luka: 'Wasn't an Akuma attack. But not gonna say it.'

Mrs. Stakes: Let;s recap on what we talked about. Sophia, continue solving the first problem.

Sophia: Yes, ma'am. *She wore down her answer and circled it. *

Mrs. Stakes: Is that your answer?

Sophia: Yes, Mrs. Stakes. I did the distributive property and that gave me 6x+8-7=21x-9. Then, I combine liked terms. I subtract 6x to both sides, that gave me 15x, then the new equation is 8-7=15x-9. Then, I subtract 8 and 7, that gave me 1. So now I got 1=15x-9, I added 1 to both sides and that gave me 15x=10, I divide 15 to both sides and that gives me x=2/3. 

Mrs. Stakes: Okay, and is it the right answer once you plug it in for x?

Sophia: Yes. I plugged in my answer to x and they both equal 5.

Mrs. Stakes: You are... correct, thank you Sophia.

Sophia: You're welcome, Mrs. Stakes. *She sits back down to her seat. *

Mrs. Stakes: Now, we move on to number 2: 1/2(4x+16)-24+3x=2(x+3)-1.

Matt: That's a tough one to do.

Bill: I know.

Mrs. Stakes: Who here got the answer? *Jack raised his hand. * Jack? 

Jack: My answer is 7

Mrs. Stakes: is that your answer?

Jack: Yes.

Mrs. Stakes: Why don't you go up and show us how you solve it?

Jack: Okay. *He stands up, walks up to the board, and he starts solving the problem. * There. X=7
