Sana is kind.

She's bright and sociable. She always tries her best and never rejects a request for help if it fits into her schedule. She was always good at listening and being sympathetic to people's plight. She'd never abandon someone in need. She's what adults would call a 'golden child', never problematic and sure to have a bright future.

Normally, that's a great thing, except it's all coming back to bite her in the ass.

"Sana, can you tutor me for the upcoming exam?"

"Ooh, me too!"

"You're like the smartest person here. If we study with you, I'm sure we'll get a passing grade."

"Please, Sana! We'll buy you lunch!"

Sana shrinks under the uncomfortable gazes of her classmates as she mentally goes through her schedule for the day. She has a Mathematics test to study for and a paper that's due next week to finish up. Additionally, she should really be finishing her painting and meeting up with her two best friends. There's literally no time for her to carve to tutor her classmates.

Under their pleading stares, Sana feels herself giving in. Maybe she can just cut down on some sleep to make time for them.

"Uh, sur-"

However, before she can agree, the classroom door opens to reveal a girl with an expressionless face.

It's Chou Tzuyu, the university's infamous beauty. Infamous because despite her too-good-to-be-true appearance, the girl never smiles or interacts with anyone. She's practically a wallflower or maybe a shadow, whatever people want to name her. No one knows anything about her except that she drives a motorcycle and has tattoos. There are even some really bad rumours about her.

Apparently, she's a delinquent that beats up anyone who displeases her. There's even a hearsay that she sent an asshole professor to the hospital for giving her a bad grade. So in conclusion, she's bad news.

Chou Tzuyu sets her honey brown eyes on the crowd surrounding Sana, causing them to flinch away.

"Actually, you know what, I'll just figure something out, Sana," The tallest boy mutters.

"M-Me too..." Another girl stutters. The rest of the classmates agree and scatter back to their seats before they catch Tzuyu's eyes any longer.

Sana blinks at her unexpected saviour who literally did nothing but stare at the crowd. Her gaze follows Chou Tzuyu's figure as the infamous girl moves to sit in the back of the lecture hall. Sana never gave Tzuyu much thought before, as their paths never crossed, but for some reason, the taller girl intrigues her.

Since that time, Sana finds herself looking at Chou Tzuyu more than she ever did before. She has to admit to herself that she is genuinely curious about the girl. Something about her just draws Sana to her.

It's funny, because despite Sana being a social butterfly, she has never had any deeper connections with the people she helps. She's just unable to make meaningful connections despite all the people surrounding her.

It's time for Economics again and that's the only class that they share together, considering that Sana is a senior trying to get her classes over with while Tzuyu is a sophomore, or so the rumours say.

The white board has information that the class usually copies down before class begins. So, Sana takes out her blue notebook and begins writing everything down, but then her vision is blocked by a person.

"Hey, Sana right?" The boy asks. He has a charming smile on his face and is standing by the white board. Sana recognizes him to be the teaching assistant for this class.
