It's Chaeyoung who questions her cheerful attitude.

"Are you alright?"

"Most definitely!" Tzuyu replies, giving another customer a full pint of bright liquid amber and a shining smile. The shorter woman narrows her eyes at her best friend, but doesn't say anything. After the rush eases up, Chaeyoung grips Tzuyu's arm and stops her from practically jumping in one place.

"Okay, what's going on?" The Korean knows that the blonde is usually quite cheerful, but today it's getting too creepy. Did the date go that well?

Tzuyu gives her a goofy smile in return, voice lowering, "I saw Sana unnie today."

Chaeyoung raises a perfectly plucked eyebrow, so that's the reason.

"Didn't you have a date today?"

The blonde nods, absentmindedly, lips curled in a grin. Chaeyoung feels like she's going to get sick. Don't misunderstand her. She loves her best friend, adores her to death. However, seeing her like this? She hasn't seen Tzuyu being this down bad since they became friends in university and she was dating her first girlfriend. And, although she wishes her nothing but the best, it will take some time getting used again to this disgusting, mushy side of Tzuyu. Yes, she's a hypocrite, considering how she asked her friend to go to that double date a month ago. That's beside the point.

"It was after the date," the taller of the two goes on to explain, "I bought flowers at the shop she works at, and saw her after the date — which was fun, by the way! And we had dinner, and talked, and, oh my god, Chaeng, she's so adorable, I just wish I could squish her cheeks!"

Chaeyoung watches in horror as Tzuyu rambles on and on and on about her girlfriend's best friend, not really knowing how else to react. The other stops when she sees Chaeyoung's eyes, her own brown irises widening, "Oh my god."

"Oh my god?"

"Chaeng, what am I supposed to do?"

"Ask her out?"

"What if she doesn't like me?"

"You'll never know unless you try!"

"Okay, yeah, you're right, you're right!" Tzuyu nods in agreement, until a frightened expression appears on her face and she starts shaking her head, "No, I can't do that! I'm scared!"

"Oh my god, you're hopeless."

Next time Sana sees Tzuyu is two weeks later, when she and her friends have a girl's night out.

This hangout is what Sana needs, really. Work has been extremely busy; they had three wedding orders last week, and she was exhausted. So, somehow, the stars aligned, and all of her friends were free on this Thursday evening. At first, they went to a nice Italian place, had some pasta and mojitos, so they were already a bit tipsy. Then, they decided that the group would proceed to the very bar where Mina's girlfriend works. And if Chaeyoung is working that means Tzuyu is working as well.

It's around eleven when they enter the bar, the place being, unsurprisingly, full, almost all of the tables and the bar are occupied by people drinking, laughing and talking. They immediately pile into one of the free booths, their noisy nature attracting attention of people around them briefly. Sana's curious eyes trace the dimly lit place. There's this vintage vibe going on and she thinks she can see a jukebox. The walls of the bar are covered with different posters, ranging from rock groups to the diversity of beer sorts.

Her eyes slowly move towards the bar, where she knows the girl, who's been running in her mind these weeks, is standing. And she's right, Tzuyu is right there, smiling at a couple of people and giving them beer-filled glasses. All of a sudden, her throat feels a bit parched and she has to cough to clear it, because, when she notices the suit the blonde is wearing, it feels like all of the blood rushes from her heart straight into her cheeks, or however blood circulation works, she's not a scientist. Sana can see the arms of the younger woman flex as she makes a show of mixing the drinks.
