Sullyoon had begged Sana to let her queue up for a picture with the so-called Santa Claus who was sitting on a chair twice her size on an elevated platform. And since it was Christmas Eve, Sana had no right to turn down her daughter's request. After all, what kind of mother would make their cute daughter miserable on Christmas Eve? Not Sana, of course, because that would be absurd! As they both stepped into the long line of kids who were screaming for Santa's attention, Sana took the time to observe the woman who was dressed up as the jolly old man.

The woman had a fake beard and probably a wig. She had a large pillow tied around her waist to mimic Santa's belly as she donned the silly red costume a size too big. She beckoned the kids towards her, letting them sit on her lap as she asked them to whisper their wishes for Christmas into her ear. Then, she sent them off with a pinky promise and a cheeky wink as she assured them that they would find whatever they desired under their Christmas tree the very next day. Sullyoon was the last kid to get called up by Santa.

"Come here, little one! Tell me what's your heart's greatest desire and I'll make that wish come true!"

Sullyoon scrambled to climb onto the so-called Santa's lap and looked up at Santa with wide, hopeful eyes, "Can you really make my wish come true, Santa?"

The Santa chuckled yet again before answering, "Nothing a little magic and hope can't do, sweetheart. Now, tell me what you would like for Christmas."

Sullyoon reached up to cup Santa's ear before whispering, "I've been a really good kid this year and I don't want any toys at all! I just want my oka-san to be happy," The little girl pointed towards Sana before continuing, "It's a little sad when it's just me and my oka-san at home celebrating Christmas. I mean my aunties do come by but I want to have two parents with me, just like my friends. And ever since my father left my oka-san, she's been very sad. I don't like to see my oka-san sad. Can you make my oka-san happy, Santa? Is that too much to ask for, Santa?"

The so-called Santa looked down at Sullyoon who kept staring at her. No one, not even her best friend, could recognise her because of the fluffy white beard covering half her face, but Tzuyu sympathised with the little girl. After all, Sullyoon only had Sana by her side because Sana's asshole of a boyfriend had left her the moment Sana told him she was pregnant. That man was out of Sana's life as quickly as he could and it was always Tzuyu who had stuck with Sana.

Tzuyu then turned her attention back to the little girl on her lap, "Little one, can you call your mother over for me?"

Sullyoon immediately jumped off her lap and dashed over to where Sana was standing. "Oka-san, Santa wants to talk to you," Sullyoon said as she pulled her mother over to where Tzuyu was sitting. She then pushed Sana towards Tzuyu before grinning, "I brought you my oka-san just like you asked, Santa!"

Tzuyu just patted the girl's head before gesturing to Sana to come closer. As soon as Sana was beside her, Tzuyu stood up to whisper into Sana's ear, "Hello, your daughter asked me for something I cannot give her."

Sana whipped her head towards the so-called Santa and asked, "What did my daughter ask for...Santa? I'll do anything to make her wish come true. I don't care how expensive it is. I just want to make her happy."

Tzuyu shook her head at Sana's reply, "Your daughter wants you to be happy and she wants to have two parents just like her other friends."

At that, Sana's heart broke as she sneaked a glance at her daughter who was waiting for them to finish their talk, anticipation evident in her eyes. "How can I possibly find another parent for her at this point in time? Christmas is tomorrow! Well, I do have someone in mind but I don't know if that person would accept my confession!" Sana stressed. Tzuyu patted Sana's shoulder, "Well then, you should take this opportunity to confess your feelings to this special person. You'll never know what could happen. After all, it is Christmas Eve and all that's needed is a Christmas miracle."
