"Right, Jimin-ssi! F1 fans have been keeping an eye on their faves during the off season, and so far the most popular driver seems to be Ferrari's Chou Tzuyu! Ever since Ferrari scooped up Tzuyu from Mercedes two years ago, they have been on a really good winning streak! The Ferrari driver now has two world championship wins under her belt with plans to make this year her third win."

"Those who have been following the then-Mercedes but now-Ferrari driver loves how far she's come! But for those we don't have a clue what we're referring to—don't worry, we'll catch you up! Like Minjeong said, it's been two years since the world famous Mercedes racing duo—Sana and Tzuyu—split! Six time F1 world champion Sana is still a tough adversary in the current F1 drivers lineup but her former partner, Tzuyu, has been giving her a run for her money in the past championships."

"You said it! These two drivers have been neck and neck in the races and it looks like that'll be the trend for this year's Formula 1 race series as well. The rivalry is still going strong."

"The fans are going to love it! They've been watching these two drivers since the infamous Mercedes duo was formed, and it was a hurricane of heartbreak when news of their split was announced. But you can't deny that the split turned their rivalry into a whole new level. The internet has gone crazy over the whole 'Mercedes versus Ferrari' phenomenon!"

Pre-Season Track Session

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Barcelona

Dark eyes are fixated on the leaderboard overhead, Tzuyu's eyes lingering on her own name before flicking to the plaque above: Minatozaki Sana - Mercedes. Sana outscored her by a mere two-tenths of a second, taking the first position for the final day of pre-season testing. The fact irks her; it's a subtle type of infuriating annoyance, one that worms its way underneath her skin and wriggles until all of her attention is forced upon the intrusion of her inner peace. Annoyance builds in slow waves, pushing and pulling until it swells and swells and swells.

Licking her lips, Tzuyu lazily pulls off her gloves and pushes down the upper half of her racing jumpsuit. It exposes her white shirt and the Ferrari proudly emblazoned on her back. She just came off the track having finished testing the set of wet and intermediate tires. The feedback was good and Tzuyu feels satisfied with the results.

That's it, for now.

The waves are slow to swell into a tidal wave.

Second place doesn't quite have a nice ring as first place does, but this is merely a test session for the F1 teams. At least, that's what she tells herself.

Knowing Sana, the woman would probably gloat the next time they see each other. Tzuyu huffs a loose strand of hair out of her eyes, a trickle of irritation breaks off from the tidal wave to wash over her briefly. Ugh, Sana would probably assume that haughty look while smirking about her results.
