A moment passed by as Sana looked at the woman in front of her with the last string of self-control she had in her. Tzuyu's wide eyes which only displayed tenderness were looking at her as if Tzuyu knew whatever was going on in Sana's head.

"Fuck it. I'm going to be happy for once," Sana muttered as she pulled Tzuyu's hand to make their way out of the crowd, away from the party. Away from Dex.

Tzuyu's hand in hers became a string to a safety she didn't even know she needed when their fingers intertwined. A strange sense of freedom floated between them, even when they still had a name to hold up high and careers to fight for. Everything seemed to vanish in the back of their minds, both too focused on keeping the dazzling moment life was generous enough to give them. A chance to make it all better or to dig in still bleeding wounds.

"Are you sure about this, angel?" Tzuyu questioned first. The cold midnight breeze blowing against their bodies, making Sana tremble lightly. Tzuyu shrugged off her coat before hanging it on Sana's shoulders.

The street lights shone over their heads in the safety of the almost empty street, the cars were parked and the security around the area seemed to be enough to keep paparazzi away from the party. Tzuyu's heart grew heavier when a moment passed by without an answer. She still loved Sana and as the blush became visible in Sana's cheeks, it was hard not to let those three little words playing on the tip of her tongue slip out even if the night breeze blew them away.

"I won't run away this time," Sana assured as she took a step closer, her chest heavy at the obvious fear in Tzuyu's eyes.

For a second, Sana recognized the true colours behind Tzuyu's sudden confidence. She saw the taller woman's lips turn into a thin line as Tzuyu's fingers squeezed her hand. The idol looked fragile even with her gaze focused over the small butterfly hanging from Sana's necklace, the one Tzuyu had given to her the night they had broken up. They were walking down a delicate path, one that had led to disaster many times in the past, Tzuyu found herself wondering if she could really take another wound from Sana, and she knew Sana was questioning just the same.

"I don't want you to regret this in the morning," Tzuyu admitted as she bit her lip.

"Is that what you're scared of?" Sana wondered as both of her hands settled on Tzuyu's shoulders.

The weight of Sana's hands in her body felt familiar, calming even as Tzuyu looked up to meet the hazel eyes she had missed over the period of three months. A nervous giggle almost escapes her lips when Sana leaned in to plant a kiss on the dimple that appeared on her cheek.

Tzuyu had always been different from the partners Sana had before who had forced Sana to learn all the tricks and steps to dance around her limits without breaking them.

"Just for tonight," Sana hummed as her hand ran down Tzuyu's arms, "We can pretend we're somebody else."

"Like nothing happened," Tzuyu's eyebrow lifted in a playful manner and it was enough to rip a giggle out of Sana.

Like you're mine, Tzuyu wasn't brave enough to add.

"We can give it a try," Sana's breath hitched when she felt Tzuyu's hand against the skin of her exposed waist, her warm fingertips caressing her cold skin in a quiet promise.

As if you loved me, Sana allowed herself to fantasise.

There in the dim street lights that shone over their heads Tzuyu couldn't help but think how crazy was it all, the way fate had aligned her once again with Sana even when she herself knew she most probably didn't deserve such a reward.

In an action that seemed selfish, Tzuyu made her decision. There were too many borderlines away from the problems that had pulled them away to begin with. There in that strange country where they didn't even speak the language the only thing that mattered was their hearts and they both sighed in content when the idol's lips touched Sana's cheek in a loving kiss.
