Sage's heart raced with pride as she recalled Pikachu as she was proud that her electric type Pokemon had defeated Nidoking and Gyarados.
Sage then sent out Hitmonchan as she couldn't help but feel excited for the next phase of the battle.
Leaf had recalled her Gyarados and the tension in the arena was palpable as both trainers prepared for the next round.
Let's do this, Hitmonchan!" Sage called out confidently.
Leaf responded by sending out Chansey which was her reliable support Pokémon as Chansey looked ready to battle.
Hitmonchan use Mach Punch!" Sage commanded as in an instant, Hitmonchan dashed forward with blinding speed and slammed a powerful Mach Punch into Chansey, sending the pink Pokémon flying into the wall.
The crowd gasped at the strength behind the attack.
Leaf raised an eyebrow but remained focused.
Chansey use Fire Punch!" Leaf called out as with a surprising burst of speed, Chansey rushed forward with its fist glowing with fiery energy.
Hitmonchan use Ice Punch!" Sage shouted.
Hitmonchan's fist froze over with ice as it collided with Chansey's Fire Punch, causing an explosion of steam as both moves canceled each other out.
Both Pokémon skidded back but Hitmonchan remained in control.
Hitmonchan use Throat Chop" Sage ordered.
Hitmonchan stretched out its arm and delivered a swift, powerful punch aimed directly at Chansey's throat.
The blow sent Chansey flying back, leaving it struggling to stay on its feet as the audience could feel the intensity of the match escalating with every strike.
Use Bullet Punch, Hitmonchan!" Sage called out.
Hitmonchan unleashed a quick barrage of Bullet Punches with each hit landing squarely on Chansey who tried to stand up despite Hitmonchan relentless assault.
Chansey use Drain Punch!" Leaf shouted as with a burst of energy, Chansey charged forward to heal itself with a Drain Punch but Sage was quick to react.
Hitmonchan, dodge!" Sage called out.
Hitmonchan expertly sidestepped the attack.
Now, Hitmonchan use Ice Punch" Sage called out but instead of using Ice Punch, Hitmonchan unleashed a powerful uppercut that knocked Chansey into the wall unconscious as Sage was surprised as her Rotom Phone buzzed and displayed Hitmonchan updated moveset.

Sage smiled as she was proud of her Hitmonchan's performance as the crowd erupted into cheers as Leaf recalled Chansey and sent out her next Pokémon which was Jolteon.

Hitmonchan, return!" Sage called out as she recalled her Fighting-type Pokémon and then sent out Shadebark who barked playfully.
Shadebark use Sludge Bomb!" Sage commanded.
Shadebark unleashed a toxic Sludge Bomb that rocketed toward Jolteon.
Jolteon, dodge!" Leaf shouted.
Jolteon narrowly dodged the attack but Sage wasn't finished.
Shadebark use Shadow Ball!" Sage called out
Shadebark's eyes glowed as it summoned a dark swirling energy and hurled it at Jolteon as the attack hit its mark, sending Jolteon skidding back.
Jolteon use Thunder Fang!" Sage called out.
Jolteon moved quickly and charged forward with lightning crackling from its fangs but Sage was already prepared.
Shadebark use Magical Leaf!" Sage called out.
Shadebark summoned a flurry of leaves and unleashed them at Jolteon as the sharp blades of energy landing directly on the Electric-type.
Jolteon staggered slightly from the hit but it wasn't out of the fight yet.
Shadebark use Sludge Bomb" Sage shouted.
Shadebark launched another Sludge Bomb that hit Jolteon squarely and sending it reeling. Jolteon struggled to get up as it looked visibly weakened by the barrage of attacks.
Sage was about to call out her next move when suddenly her Rotom Phone buzzed and displayed Shadebark updated moveset.

Shadebark use Leaf Blade!" Sage immediately called out.
Shadebark's form glowed as it unleashed a powerful Leaf Blad as the glowing green blade sliced through the air and hit Jolteon head-on.
The force of the attack knocked Jolteon out and sent it crashing to the ground, unable to battle.
Jolteon is unable to battle! Sage has six Pokémon left, and Leaf has three remaining!" The Referee shouted as everyone cheered.
Sage smiled as she was relieved but still determined as with six Pokémon left on her side, she felt a rush of excitement as she and Leaf moved closer to the finish of this intense battle.
