The Magnet Train was a blur of excitement as it sped toward the Pokémon League as the four-minute journey felt like an eternity to Sage, Leaf, Red and Blue, who were all practically bursting with anticipation.
This was it the moment they had been working for their entire lives.
As the train came to a stop, they all stepped off and into the grand Pokémon League Building as the massive structure loomed before them and the sheer scale of it took Sage's breath away.
Her eyes gleamed as she looked around as there was multiple trainers and Pokemon all around and talking to each other.
Sage, Leaf, Red and Blue entered the building and waiting for them inside were their families as Sage smiled brightly as she spotted her parents, Chase and Emma, waving excitedly.
Sage felt excited that her mom and dad was here as she can't wait to show them how far she has come in her journey as Sage also spotted Professor Oak and Bill
Professor Oak cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention.
Sage, Leaf, Red and Blue... You four have proven yourselves worthy by earning all eight Gym Badges and you are the only four to collect all the gym badges meaning you will face each other in a tournament style" Professor Oak said
Sage exchanged determined looks with her friends as this was it. The stage was set and they were ready.
The group made their way toward the main arena as the floor beneath them was shaking with every step as the crowd cheered in excitement.
Sage's mind raced with the thought of her first battle. Who would she face first?
As they reached the arena, the large screen above flickered to life and displayed the bracket for the competition as the crowd hushed as the names appeared, one by one.

Sage's eyes widened in surprise as she glanced at Leaf who her best friend and a great Pokemon trainer as this was going to be an intense battle and the two close friends who had supported each other throughout their journeys, now facing off in the ultimate test.
Let's give it everything we've got, Sage. May the best trainer win" Leaf said.
You got it, Leaf. Let's make this a battle to remember" Sage said as the two trainers made their way to the battlefield, the crowd erupted into applause.
The screen flickered again and the next match up is Red vs Blue.
Red and Blue looked at each other and went to the battlefield which was designed for their battle.
