Sage reached the summit of the mountain as her heart was pounding rapidly in her chest as she took in the sight before her.
There, standing at the center of the cavernous clearing was Giovanni the man responsible for so many of Kanto's troubles.
He stood before three pedestals that seemed to be made specifically for the three rocks Giovanni has in his possession.
Giovanni turned slowly as Sage approached with his gaze cool and calculating.
So, you've arrived at last" Giovanni said with his voice smooth like silk.
Sage narrowed her eyes, trying to keep her composure.
Giovanni, don't do this. If you wake up Aviation, you will destroy Kanto" Sage said.
I'm just a simple businessman, Sage. Do you honestly think I care about Kanto? With the power of Aviation on my side, I will rule the world" Giovanni said as his smirk widened.
Before Sage could respond, a voice interrupted as it was one that sent a chill down her spine.
As if I'll let that happen" the voice said.
Sage's eyes widened and she spun around to face the voice and there standing in the shadows, was none other than Red.
Red?" Sage whispered as she felt a sense of hope as she didn't think Red would join them final battle against Team Rocket.
I don't care if you're my father, Giovanni. I won't let you continue your selfish and maniacal plans" Red said with resolve in his tone.
Giovanni's expression shifted with a flicker of disdain crossing his face.
Poor, naive Red. You have your mother's kind heart but you'll learn soon enough and since I'm generous enough I will offer you a proposal—join me and together, we will rule the world" Giovanni said.
I'll never join you" Red said calmly.
Giovanni's eyes hardened with his voice growing cold.
What a shame. It seems both of my sons are very incompetent, well I don't need you" Giovanni snarled as with a swift motion, Giovanni released his Beedrill and Nidoking as they immediately positioned themselves in front of Sage and Red, blocking their path.
Giovanni reached into his coat pocket and pulled out the three stones.
The Molten Rock, the Icy Rock and the Lightning Rock as he held them them high in the air.
With these, I will awaken Aviation and claim my ultimate weapon" Giovanni said with a smirk.
Sage and Red both tried to stop him but it was no use as the stones began to glow brighter with their energy intensifying as they were placed upon the pedestals.
The ground shook violently and some ear-piercing screeched rang through the air.
Sage and Red turned their gazes upward as a blinding light erupted from the three pedestals and in the next moment the legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres appeared as they were flying in a wide circle above them.
Their forms were radiant, glowing with a supernatural energy as they merged together in a massive burst of light and from the chaos of swirling energy a powerful force took shape as Aviation was reborn.

The legendary bird screeched loudly with its cry deafening as the air around them crackled with power.
Giovanni's laughter echoed throughout the mountain as he threw a Master Ball as he was ready to claim his new weapon.
But something unexpected happened. Aviation's eyes locked onto the Master Ball and in an instant, it unleashed a brilliant Hyper Beam that strike the Master Ball and destroying it in a burst of light.
Giovanni stood frozen with his eyes wide with disbelief as the fragments of the shattered ball fell to the ground.
No!" Giovanni shouted with his voice filled with shock and rage.
Blue and Leaf, who had caught up just in time as they stood in awe, staring at the massive creature before them.
Aviation was unlike anything they've seen as this Pokemon has Ice, Fire and Lightning on its side making it a very formidable opponent.
Red turned to his friends with determination etched on his face.
We can't let it roam free. We need to stop it before it's too late" Red said.
We're going to have to fight it. Together" Sage said.
Without hesitation, Red called out his starter Pokémon, Pikachu who jumped to the ground with its body crackling with electricity.
Sage sent out Charizard with its flames burning bright as it roared and glared at Aviation.
Leaf sent out Venusaur with its massive flower unfurling as it readied itself for battle.
Blue called on Blastoise who was ready to battle with its cannons aimed at Aviation
Aviation let out another deafening screech with its eyes narrowing as it prepared to retaliate.
The air crackled with energy as the legendary bird circled them.
Giovanni stood off to the side, stunned that his Master Ball had been destroyed as he clenched his fists in frustration.
This isn't over" Giovanni muttered under his breath with his eyes locked on Aviation.
Sage and the others braced themselves as they knew this battle would determine the fate of Kanto and possibly the world and with their Pokémon at the ready, they were prepared to face Aviation and stop Giovanni's madness once and for all.
