Sage exited the Viridian City Gym with her heart racing with excitement as she had earned all eight Gym badges and now she was going to face the Pokemon league.

Sage made her way to the nearby Pokémon Center as she couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment as the journey had been long and the battles had been tough but she had made it.

Once inside the Pokemon center, Sage took a seat and pulled out her Rotom Phone as she quickly typed a message and sent it to her three closest friends and rivals: Red, Blue and Leaf.

Hey guys! I just got my last badge at the Viridian City Gym! I'm at the Pokémon Center, waiting for you all to catch up. Let's do this!"

With a smile, she hit send and sat back, eagerly awaited their arrival as the thought of the upcoming Pokémon League tournament sent a rush of excitement through her veins.

She was determined to give it her all and show how far she had come.

Sage began planning her strategies for the League as she didn't know what to expect but she was determined to be prepared at all cost

Hours passed and just as the sun began to set, the doors to the Pokémon Center swung open as Sage looked up and saw Red, Blue and Leaf walking through the door with each of them looking excited.

You guys made it! We all the eight badges!" Sage said as threw her arms in the air as she was feeling the weight of the accomplishment.

We're really here. We've all come so far!" Leaf said as her joy was matching Sage.

Red simply nodded with his quiet yet determined demeanor still present and Blue gave a cocky smirk as he was determined to win and show everyone his strength.

The four friends gathered together in a moment of celebration as they were sharing stories of their journeys, laughing and basking in the glory of their shared achievement but there was a feeling of determination in the air.

They knew the Pokémon League would be the ultimate test of their skills.

After a few moments, the excitement began to settle and Sage had an idea.

How about we all show each other our teams?" Sage suggested.

Each of them agreed and they all took out their Poké Balls and began calling forth their Pokémon one by one.

Sage's Team:

Charizard (Fire/Flying)

Espeon (Psychic)

Pidgeot (Flying)

Blastoise (Water)

Pikachu (Electric)

Shadebark (Grass/Ghost)

Hitmonchan (Fighting)

Sage couldn't help but smile as she looked at her team as they had been with her through thick and thin and each one played a crucial role in her journey to the top.

Next, Leaf revealed her team:

Venusaur (Grass/Poison)

Fearow (Flying)

Arcanine (Fire)

Chansey (Normal)

Jolteon (Electric)

Gyarados (Water/Flying)

Nidoking (Poison/Ground)

Leaf had a well-rounded and strong team and her choice of Pokémon reflected her adaptability and strategy.

Blue followed suit, releasing his Pokémon:

Blastoise (Water)

Pidgeot (Flying)

Rhydon (Ground/Rock)

Alakazam (Psychic)

Exeggutor (Grass/Psychic)

Umbreon (Dark)

Arcanine (Fire)

Blue's team was a mix of power and versatility with a few surprises that would be interesting to face in battle.

Lastly, Red released his Pokémon:

Pikachu (Electric)

Charizard (Fire/Flying)

Pidgeot (Flying)

Lapras (Water/Ice)

Primeape (Fighting)

Aerodactyl (Rock/Flying)

Poliwrath (Water/Fighting)

Sage's eyes widened in surprise when she saw Red's Charizard.

You have a Charizard too?" Sage asked in surprise

I raised it from a egg" Red said plainly.

The group exchanged glances as each of them was impressed with the strength and diversity of their Pokémon teams and it was clear that they had all worked hard to build powerful teams and now, they were ready for the ultimate challenge.

After a few moments of admiration, they all recalled their Pokémon and made their way to the Magnet Train as the train would take them to the Pokémon League, where their final test awaited.

Sage could hardly contain her excitement as she was about to face the ultimate challenge in her journey and she was ready.
