The battlefield was raining hard as the battle was far from over as Sage, Blue and Red stood with unwavering determination with their Pokémon by their sides as Leaf was off to the side healing her starter.

Both Pokémon rushed forward with their fists crackling with electricity as Aviation tried to soar higher but it was too late.
The two Thunder Punches collided with its body, sending the elemental bird plummeting to the ground with a deafening screech of pain.
Aviation thrashed wildly with its power slipping from its control as it attacked recklessly in an attempt to defend itself as Blue saw his opportunity.
Blastoise use Ice Beam!" Blue called out.
Blastoise unleashed a freezing beam of ice, which struck Aviation head-on as the legendary bird roared in fury as it charged up a devastating Elemental Force and launched it towards Blastoise.
Blastoise use Protect!" Blue called out.
Blastoise quickly surrounded itself with a shimmering shield and blocked the brunt of the attack.
Charizard use Dragon Claw!" Sage shouted.
Charizard rushed forward with blazing speed with its claws glowing green with dragon energy as it slashed at Aviation, sending the legendary bird crashing to the ground, weak and vulnerable.
As everyone prepared for the final blow, the atmosphere suddenly changed as two powerful screeches echoed across the mountainside.
Sage, Leaf, Blue and Red looked up in shock.
Above them, two mighty figures soared through the sky as it was Lugia and Ho-Oh the legendary guardians of the seas and skies as the two Pokémon flew in perfect harmony with their majestic wings creating gusts of wind.
In a flash, Aviation was surrounded by a brilliant light as Aviation gave on last defiant screech before splitting into Zapdos, Articuno and Moltres as the three legendary birds looked confused as they flew off into the sky and disappeared into the horizon.
Lugia the guardian of the seas, gave a solemn nod before flying away and Ho-Oh, the guardian of the skies, glanced briefly at Sage before flying away.
Sage, Leaf, Blue and Red stood in stunned silence as the battle now over and they had stopped Giovanni's plans but the danger was far from finished.
Just as Giovanni was preparing to escape a voice rang out.

Sage turned and saw Officer Jenny and Daisy standing behind Giovanni as Officer Jenny quickly approached and handcuffed Giovanni as he sneered at the interruption.

Sage, Leaf, Blue and Red exchanged a look as they knew that Giovanni's words held some truth as the fight for Kanto had been won but the battle for the future was just beginning.
Sage felt a deep sense of relief, knowing they had saved Kanto from certain destruction and now she can focus on collecting her two remaining gym badges in order to challenge the Pokemon league.
