Pidgeot use Air Slash!" Sage called out and with a swift flap of its wings, Pidgeot summoned a sharp wave of air and sent it slicing towards Magmar.
Magmar use Flamethrower!" Blaine shouted.
Magmar exhaled a stream of intense flames as the two attacks colliding in a massive explosion of heat and air as the shockwave rattled the arena but both Pokémon stood firm, unaffected.
Sage grinned as she knew Pidgeot had the advantage with its speed.
Pidgeot use Quick Attack!" Sage ordered and in an instant, Pidgeot shot forward like a blur and slammed into Magmar and sending the Fire-type crashing into the wall of the gym.
The impact created a crater and Magmar seemed dazed as Sage saw her opportunity.
Pidgeot use Storm Dance!" Sage called out as with a graceful and elegant motion, Pidgeot spun in the air, summoning a powerful windstorm with each beat of its wings as the wind swirled around Pidgeot, raising its speed dramatically as it prepared for its next move.
Blaine clenched his teeth as he was realizing he was on the back foot in this battle.
Magmar use Thunder Punch!" Blaine commanded.

Magmar use Poison Jab!" Blaine ordered with urgency.
Magmar not giving up, lunged forward with a pointed fist covered in poison as Magmar strike Pidgeot hard sending it on the floor as Pidgeot gritted its teeth and flew up and began flying around extremely fast.
Sage's eyes sharpened as she saw Pidgeot's resolve.
Both Sage and Blaine stood in awe as Pidgeot flew around rapidly with its speed increasing beyond anything they had seen before.

Sage stood frozen for a moment as she was utterly shocked by what she had just witnessed as that wasn't a normal Quick Attack—it was something more.
