Sage stood next to Professor Oak laboratory as she was waiting for Blue, Leaf and Daisy to arrive as the peaceful air of Pallet town felt like a stark contrast to the Chaos happening around Kanto as Sage smiled as even when Chaos was happening somehow Pallet town away maintained its calming and soothing presence.
Suddenly Sage heard a voice.

Sage whipped around as she was startled but her expression softened when she saw the familiar figure approaching. It was her mother, Emma.

I heard from Daisy about what's happening and while I would prefer you stay out of trouble, I know I can't stop you since you have your father's determination and bravery" Emma said as she smiled at her daughter.
Sage smiled with her chest swelling with pride as her mother's support meant more to her than words could express.
It was comforting to know that even though Emma didn't want her daughter involved in the dangerous mission ahead, she understood Sage's resolve.
Emma's eyes softened as she reached into her bag.
I have a gift for your Charizard" Emma said as she held out a TM.
Sage's curiosity piqued and she leaned forward with her eyes wide.
A gift for Charizard?" Sage asked eagerly.
Emma nodded with a nostalgic look crossing her face.
This move was one of the main reasons why your father became a Champion" Emma explained with her voice filled with emotion.
It helped him secure his victories and now I want you to have it for Charizard. I know it will make your starter even stronger" Emma smiled.
With a smile, Emma handed Sage the TM for Thunder Punch as Sage's eyes lit up as she took the small device in her hand as she remembered how useful Thunder Punch had been for her Pikachu during their battles.
It was a move with both power and versatility and Sage had been sad that Pikachu had forgotten Thunder Punch when it learned Discharge but now Thunder Punch was making a return and this time her Charizard who can Mega evolve can use this move.

Emma smiled warmly as she felt proud as she watched Sage take the TM.
Use this new Power and go out there and show those Team Rocket idiots and everyone in Kanto the power of the Parker Family" Emma said with a smirk.
Sage's heart swelled with emotion as she couldn't help but feel like she was going into battle with her family help and that meant so much to her.
Sage took a deep breath and took out Charizard Pokeball and tossed it up.
Charizard, I need you!" Sage said as with a burst of light, Charizard appeared before her and landdd gracefully on the ground.
The Fire/Flying-type Pokémon's eyes met hers and Sage could see the trust and loyalty that reflected in Charizard eyes.
Charizard, this is for you and i know it will help you become even stronger" Sage said as she held out the TM for Charizard
Charizard eyed the TM curiously and with a touch of its claw, the device began to glow as the energy from the TM surged through Charizard's body as Charizard roared proudly.
The glow intensified before the TM shattered into sparks of light and Sage felt a powerful surge of energy emanating from Charizard.
Charizard flexed its wings with its body pulsing with new power as Sage's Rotom Phone buzzed, and she quickly checked the updated moveset for her partner.
The screen displayed Charizard's updated list of moves:

Thunder Punch
Wing Attack
Dragon Claw
Seismic Toss
Sage's smile grew wider as she saw the new move as Thunder Punch would add a much-needed electric edge to Charizard's already impressive arsenal and with the power of that move, Sage knew they will be ready for whatever came next.
Emma hugged her daughter and said.
Now go save Kanto" Emma encouraged as Sage nodded as Emma walked away as Sage smiled.
