The arena erupted in cheers as the two Pokémon stood facing each other.

The crowd gasped as they watched on as both Pokémon stood their ground despite the force of the impact.

Charizard roared and flew toward Venusaur with its claws glowing with draconic energy as the attack hit Venusaur square in the head sending the massive plant Pokémon flying back.

Charizard fired another stream of flames as this one even more intense than before as Venusaur staggered as the fire engulfed it, creating a massive explosion.
The crowd winced as the fiery blast cleared and Venusaur was visibly weakened but still standing.
Leaf gritted her teeth as she was determined to gain control of the situation.
Venusaur use Power Whip!" Leaf called out
Venusaur swung its powerful vines toward Charizard as Sage's eyes widened as she quickly assessed the situation.
Charizard, dodge and use Seismic Toss!" Sage called out as with lightning speed, Charizard avoided the incoming vines and swooped down and grabbed Venusaur in its claws and in one fluid motion, Charizard used Seismic Toss as Venusaur was slammed into the ground with a mighty force.
The impact created a huge crater in the middle of the arena as a cloud of dust was sent into the air.
Venusaur groaned weakly with its vines twitching as struggled to stay upright as Leaf's face tightened with focus.
Venusaur use your vines to grab Charizard!" Leaf shouted and to everyone's surprise, Venusaur's vines shot out and wrapped around Charizard's legs, holding the fire starter firmly in place.
Leaf grinned as she saw an opportunity to strike.

Venusaur began charging up energy as it began gathering sunlight to unleash its powerful Solarbeam.
Charizard struggled against the vines as it was trying to break free but then suddenly Sage Rotom Phone buzzed and displayed a message.
Surprised, Sage quickly glanced at the screen and to her shock, it displayed Charizard's updated moveset: Flamethrower, Heat Wave, Thunder Punch, Dragon Claw, and Seismic Toss.
A flash of inspiration struck Sage.
Charizard use Heat Wave!" Sage called out as with a mighty roar, Charizard unleashed a powerful Heat Wave as the intense heat blasted through the air.
Venusaur released the Solarbeam as both attacks clashed head on creating a huge explosion and sending a shower of debris into the air.
When the dust finally settled, the arena fell silent as Venusaur had fainted with its vines falling limp as it slumped to the ground.
The referee raised his hand and announced.
Venusaur is unable to battle. The winner is Sage!" The Referee shouted.
The crowd erupted into cheers and Sage could hardly contain her excitement as she had won the match and defeated her best friend and was now advancing to the Semi-Finals of the Pokémon League!
Sage looked over at Leaf, who gave her a proud smile despite the loss.
You were amazing, Sage" Leaf said as she wiped away a tear as she was proud of her best friend.
