The atmosphere in the stadium was electric as Sage and Leaf continued their epic showdown as Sage was feeling the pressure of the ongoing battle and was determined to win.
Leaf recalled her Jolteon and sent out Arcanine.
Sage confidently recalled Shadebark and sent out Pidgeot who ready to battle.
Go, Pidgeot!" Sage said with a grin.
Arcanine, let's show them what we've got!" Leaf replied with equal enthusiasm.
The battle began in full force and Sage was quick to act.
Pidgeot use Air Slash!" Sage called out as with a flap of its wings, Pidgeot sent a powerful gust toward Arcanine as the sharp winds hit the Fire-type Pokémon.
Arcanine staggered back but quickly regained its footing.
Arcanine use Crunch!" Leaf shouted.
Arcanine dashed forward with its jaws glowing with fierce power as it was ready to strike but Sage wasn't caught off guard.
Evade and use Brave Bird, Pidgeot!" Sage said confidently.
Pidgeot soared high into the air and evaded Arcanine's bite and without hesitation, Pidgeot dove straight down as it was cloaked in an aura of blue and white energy.
The Brave Bird attack hit Arcanine squarely, sending it crashing into the wall with a loud thud as the crowd gasped at the force of the blow.
Sage grinned and decided to keep the momentum going.
Pidgeot use Air Slash again!" Sage called out
Pidgeot who was still riding the wave of momentum, flapped its wings furiously and unleashed another Air Slash as Arcanine was hit once again as it staggered backward.
The force of the attack kicked up a cloud of smoke and momentarily obscured their view.
Leaf wasn't about to let her Pokémon go down that easily.
Arcanine use Flamethrower!" Leaf commanded.
Arcanine barked loudly and unleashed a fiery Flamethrower as the flames soared towards Pidgeot.
Sage's eyes widened as she quickly thought of a counter.
Pidgeot, dodge and use Brave Bird!" Sage called out as with expert agility, Pidgeot soared in a tight arc and dodged the flames with ease and once again dove down with a mighty Brave Bird.
The attack hit Arcanine square in the chest, sending it flying into the wall again as this time, Arcanine didn't get up.
The referee raised his hand and declared.
Arcanine is unable to battle! Sage has five Pokémon left, while Leaf has only three remaining" the Referee shouted.
Sage smiled as she was feeling the adrenaline rush from the battle as Leaf couldn't help but laugh as she recalled Arcanine.
Wow, you barely gave my Arcanine a chance to attack" Leaf giggled as she was clearly impressed with Sage's battle strategy.
Sage giggled sheepishly in return as she knew that her rapid-fire moves had caught Leaf off guard.
I just did what I had to do" Sage replied with a teasing smirk.
Alright, time for a real fight. Go, Fearow!" Leaf said as she sent out Fearow who glared at Pidgeot.

Fearow use Aerial Ace!" Leaf shouted with incredible speed, Fearow flew at Pidgeot and slashed the bird type Pokemon with its sharp wings as the attack sent Pidgeot to the ground but it quickly scrambled to its feet.
Pidgeot use Storm Dance!" Sage called out.
Pidgeot flew up into the air and performed an elegant, fluid dance that seemed to manipulate the wind around it.
The movement caused a rush of energy that boosted Pidgeot's speed, making it even faster than before and raising its speed by two stages.
Now, Pidgeot, use Brave Bird!" Sage shouted as with newfound speed and power, Pidgeot dove toward Fearow, using Brave Bird with devastating force.
Fearow use Drill Run!" Leaf shouted as she knew it was now or never.
As Pidgeot closed in, Fearow dug into the ground with its sharp beak and propelled itself forward with a deadly Drill Run.
The two Pokémon collided with a huge explosion of energy.
When the dust cleared, both Fearow and Pidgeot lay unconscious on the ground as the referee hesitated before raising his hand.
Both Pokémon are unable to battle!" The Referee called out.
Sage's heart raced as she looked at the field as she had five Pokémon still standing, while Leaf only had one remaining which was her ace.
This isn't over yet, Sage. It's time for my final Pokémon" Leaf said with a smile
Sage smiled confidently as she was ready for whatever Leaf had left as the battle had been fierce but now, it was coming down to the ultimate showdown.
