Chpater 36

3rd Person POV
Everyone had made their way to Beanbean Castle Town, and it wasn't long until they made it to the gates of the Beanbean International Airport that's located in the south of town. When they got there, they were greeted by an attendant.

"Mario... Luigi... (Y/N)... Eve... Ash... Pikachu... Goh... Lady Lima is calling for you. Please go the runway up ahead," he said. They followed him to the runway until they found Lady Lima.

"Oh! Everyone! Queen Bean was most pleased by your efforts at the Hooniversity!" Lady Lima said with a smile.

"Yeah... but the Beanstar, it's..." (Y/N) said until she was cut off by Lady Lima.

"That will be dealt with later. By the way, there has been a slight hiccup in our plans to welcome Princess Peach. You see, nasty Piranha Plants have dug their roots into the runway days ago. Her airplane can't land!" Lady Lima said. The others took a look and saw Piranha Plants digging their roots in the runway, as Lady Lima said.

"But haven't they already made repairs?" Luigi asked.

"Well, with the Cackletta incident, it didn't seem to be a priority. But enough about that! You must do something about these disgusting Piranha Plants for the sake of the Princess! You can't refuse, can you?" Lady Lima pleaded.

"I guess we don't have a choice, do we?" Mario said.

"Well then! Show me that Mario Bros. work ethic I've heard so much about!" Lady Lima said.

"Okay. Let's go, guys," (Y/N) said as everyone headed out to deal with the Piranha Plants as Mario was dragging an exhausted Luigi from his failed attempt of pulling out a Piranha Plant.

*timeskip*

Everyone was nearly exhausted from dealing with the Piranha Plants invading the runway.

"Can't they just give up already?" (Y/N) groaned.

"I don't think my legs are cut out for this stuff..." Goh said. Then, a Beanish person came up to them.

"My, my. You all having some trouble? As a botanist, I know quite a few things about those Piranha Plants," he said.

"Pika?" Pikachu said.

"Really? You do? Like what?" Eve asked

"Well, I know that their petals are quite filled with water, so trying to water them may result in them getting quite bloated. They also try to avoid getting shocked when wet as well," the Beanish botanist explained before leaving.

"I see. I get it! If we spray the Piranha Plants with water, we can electrocute them afterward. That way, they can disappear for good!" (Y/N) said.

"So, that's how it goes! Let's-a go!" Mario said.

(Y/N) and co. began to get rid of the Piranha Plants rooting the streets with Mario spraying them with water and Luigi and (Y/N) electrocuting them by the roots. As soon as the last one was destroyed, they heard a load roar from somewhere.

"What was that noise?" Eve asked.

"Only one way to find out," Ash said. Everyone rushed to where the roar came from. When they got there, they found a Piranha Plant that's bigger than others and has an eggshell on her head, which is the Mom Piranha. She then looked at them angrily.

"Well, we know the drill," (Y/N) said as she and the others prepared for a fight. Mom Piranha then started to swing her vines at them, in which they dodged. Luigi and Pikachu used their thunder attacks on the Piranha Plants, which did a lot of damage. Probably enough damage to defeat them. Mario and Eve tried to do the same with their fire attacks, but they reversed the damage.
