Chapter 127

3rd Person POV
The gang finally made it to their next destination: Click Clock Wood. It was a rainforest full of large and very tall trees and filled with different kinds of wildlife that find this kind of habitat fitting.

"Etta..." Meloetta said, curious about the area.

"A rainforest, huh? I really should've brought an umbrella," (Y/N) said.

"Or a raincoat," Eve said.

"This place is huge. It's gonna be difficult finding the Jiggies and Jinjo at this rate," Banjo commented.

"Yeah, but not impossible, at least. Let's get searchin'!" Kazooie said.

After pressing a tree stump with a red flower on it, the gang went through the door with the same flower on it.

Once they went through, they went to another area in the same forest. There were fly traps ready to strike, flower Fields, and large tree branches that could serve as platforms.

"Yep. You were not lying," Eve said.

"Told you so," Kazooie said.

"Let's go up that tree over there," Banjo said.

Everyone then went up the tree branches untilt they reached a small garden in the distance.

"What do you think someone's planting there?" Eve asked.

"No idea," (Y/N) responded.

Kazooie then shot some blue eggs in the soil to see what happens. Suddenly, a large plant sprouted from the ground. However, it hasn't bloomed completely.

"Hmm... Doesn't look like it's coming up yet," Banjo commented.

"Let's save it for later in the meantime," (Y/N) said.

"Etta," Meloetta nodded.

Everyone the left the patch and continued climbing the large tree branches. Eventually, they found a small stump with a sun on it. Banjo pressed it, and a door with the same mark opened. However, everyone was still a tad bit confused.

"Sooo... What now?" Banjo asked.

Suddenly, Eve remembered something. "Oh yeah. I think I remember seeing a door with a sign like that," she spoke.

"Then, where is it?" Kazooie asked.

"If I remember correctly, it could be at the first area," Eve answered.

"That's got it! Let's go!" (Y/N) said.

Suddenly, just when they were about to go back, they spotted a large egg sitting at a nest. Only the top was cracked open.

Meloetta flew up and kicked the egg at the top, making the egg crack completely, revealing a baby eagle.

"Bwarrr! Me Eyrie... Mighty eagle! Need sleep now..." The baby eagle said before going to sleep.

"Sorry about that," (Y/N) said before everyone continued on towards the main area of Click Clock Wood.

*scene change*

Once they returned to the first area with multiple doors, the gang instantly went to the door with a sun on it. As soon as they walked through, they saw Eyrie on top of a tree.

"How did the squirt get up there?!" Kazooie said.

"Eyrie hungry now! Need 5 caterpillars," Eyrie said.

"Melo?" Meloetta said curiously.

"Hmm... I think he needs caterpillars to eat, but he's too small to get some," Banjo said.
