Chapter 136

Their next destination was Rainbow Resort, an area connected to Orange Ocean. It also held a rainbow that was connecting to the sky, as the name suggests.

"How close are we to the Fountain of Dreams?" (Y/N) asked.

"I don't know. I sense a Star Rod piece somewhere, but I can't find the Fountain of Dreams anywhere..." Eve said.

"Poyo..." Kirby said.

"Darn... Oh, well. I guess we'll to keep looking the old-fashioned way," (Y/N) said.

"Etta..." Meloetta said. Suddenly, as she looked up at the sky, she spotted something in the distance.

"Melo!" She said as she pointed at what she saw.

"What's up, Meloetta?" Eve asked.

Everyone looked at the sky and saw the same thing Meleotta saw. It was a floating island with a fountain flowing with water.

"Poyo..." Kirby said.

"Is that...?" Eve said.

"The Fountain of Dreams... We found it! We found the Fountain of Dreams!" (Y/N) exclaimed.

"Etta!" Meloetta cheered.

"It took us a while, but we finally found it!" Eve said.

"Poyo, poyo!" Kirby said.

"Alright. Just a little more! Let's move!" (Y/N) said. 

Everyone then rushed onward to find a way to reach the Fountain of Dreams. However, little did they know that not only there was someone there, but also a lurking darkness that no one, even the person near the Fountain of Dreams, know about.

After a bit of traversing through the stars, they made it halfway to the Fountain of Dreams. Suddenly, as they were about to continue, Eve felt a strong presence from somewhere.

"Hold on! Someone's coming," Eve said.

"Poyo?" Kirby said, confused.

"Is it Meta Knight?" (Y/N) asked.

"No... It's not him. It's something else... Over there!" Eve said.

Then, out of nowhere, Poppy Bros Sr., Mr. Tick-Tock, Mr. Frosty, Bonkers, Phan Phan, Bugzzy, and Fire Lion appeared.

"Etta!" Meloetta said in surprise.

"Looks like we got some unwanted company!" (Y/N) said.

Poppy Bros Sr. went first and threw a bomb at that gang, but Eve countered by kicking back at him, making the bomb explode. The others saw it and charged at the gang. 

Mr. Tick-Tock began to ring, launching music notes at the gang. However, Meloetta kicked every music note, knocking them away, before she sung her Relic Song to transform into her Pirouette form. She then charged at Mr. Tick-Tock until she kicked him back. This gave Kirby the chance to charge at him and swing his hammer, defeating him in the process.

Meanwhile, Eve was dealing with Mr. Frosty. Mr. Frosty was throwing large ice cubes he create at the dragon girl. After a bit of dodging, she kicked one back at Mr. Frosty, blinding him. Suddenly, Bonkers tried to do a sneak attack with his hammer, but Eve saw it coming as she dashed behind him and punched him in the back, making him drop his hammer. She then grabbed the hammer and whacked its original wielder towards Mr. Frosty. And to add insult to injury, she threw the hammer at the two, who were still down.

(Y/N) was facing off against Phan Phan. Phan Phan began to roll and charged at the girl, but (Y/N) summoned a strong Iron Blossom. She then summoned chains around Phan Phan spherical form before she swung him around. She then noticed Bugzzy charging at her with his pincers. She then threw Phan Phan at Bugzzy, knocking both of them away before blasting another Star Bubble at them.
