Chapter 48

3rd Person POV
As they went deeper into the castle,  they went into rooms with more difficult puzzles to solve. It took a bit of brain power for everyone to crack them. Then, at the end of a hallway, a new Koopaling dropped into the room. He had sunglasses and a purple shell. Roy Koopa. After everyone approached, Roy suddenly leaped away. Then, a teleporter appeared.

"That's weird... Why did he run away?"  Arle asked.

"Not sure, but we better keep moving," Ash said.

Everyone then went into the teleporter and was transported to another location. As they kept moving, Roy suddenly appeared from above.

"This ends now!" He roared.

"Finally decided to show your face, huh? Then, bring it on!" Eve taunted.

Then, a Bob-omb with a timer on it appeared. It was showing the number 9.

"Hey, stupid face! Yeah, you! Check this out… When this reaches zero, it's game over!" Roy explained. Then the clock began to tick away.

9:00

"Darn it! It's a race against the clock! We gotta finish him off fast!" (Y/N) said.

Luigi started off by using the Super Cyclone Bros attack on the Koopaling while Mario went next with the Super Fire Bros move. (Y/N) and Eve went next using their Luminara Impact attack.

Roy angrily growled and used his fireball attack, which, unfortunately, didn't hit them like he hoped. He then used his spinning shell attack, which only hit Arle's shield. Then, Luigi and Pikachu came in and repelled it.

8:00

Ringo used her Calculus move to confuse Roy, which worked for a bit. Then, Arle and Amitie combined both of their ice magic to attack, making Roy shiver for a bit. Roy then used his spinning shell attack once again, but Pikachu countered with a Volt Tackle.

7:00

"Let's do it, Luigi!" Mario said. Luigi nodded, and the two brothers proceeded to use their Bounce Bros. attack. (Y/N) followed suit by using her Marble Burst attack.

Roy then became more aggressive. He started to spit out fireballs, which were dodged once again. Suddenly, Eve used her Diamond Shield to knock one of the fireballs back at Roy, dealing damage.

6:00

Mario and Luigi went back to using their respective hand moves. Arle went in and used her fireball spell on Roy. Meanwhile, Roy kept on making even bigger fireballs, but (Y/N) and Eve kept knocking them back at Roy.

"GRAAHH!" Roy roared. He then began to make shcokwaves. However, unlike Morton's, Roy's shockwaves were moving slower or faster than normal, catching everyone off-guard.

5:00

"Not yet! Eve!" (Y/N) shouted. Eve nodded, and the two leaped and used Luminara Impact on Roy, defeating him spectacularly. The ticking Bob-omb then ran away somewhere and exploded.

"Phew... It's over..." Luigi sighed.

"Not yet, bro. We still have two more Koopalings to take care of before getting to Bowletta," Mario said.

"Got it. Let's keep moving," (Y/N) said.

After Roy's defeat, a barrel appeared somewhere near Roy's defeat spot. This gave everyone the chance to move forward. As they continued, there were more puzzles involving barrels. It was no problem for Luigi since he had to get inside one to let people move on platforms.

A few more rooms later, they went into a room with three pipes. In one of them, another Koopaling was spotted. This time, it was a girly Koopaling wearing a pearly necklace, gold bracelets, a pink bow, heels, and lipstick. Wendy O. Koopa.
