Chapter 65

After moving through the door, (Y/N) and Eve found themselves in a big city. However, it was more advanced and technological than normal.

"Wow. This city's huge," (Y/N) said.

"Yeah. It's really... Hmm... How do I put this? Uhh... futuristic?" Eve said.

"That's one way to put it," (Y/N) said.

Suddenly, a loud boom was heard from somewhere in the distance. Then, some destruction can be seen in the distance.

"What's going on out there?" Eve asked.

"I don't know, but it's not looking so good. Let's go!" (Y/N) said.

The two then rushed into the scene to investigate. They saw many people running away, some human and some robotic. Then, once the innocent cleared out of the way, a horde of robots were moving towards them.

"So, they DO have robots here!" Eve said.

Then, one of the robots shot an energy ball at them. Luckily, the two were able to avoid it, making it explode somewhere else.

"But they don't look very friendly," (Y/N) said.

The two rushed . However, due to the number of rampaging robots joining in, it was getting more difficult for them.

"Seriously...? How many of them are there?" (Y/N) said.

Before one of the rampaging robots were about to make a move, a blue figure swooped in and shot multiple blasts at them from his arm cannon, destroying them. He then turned to (Y/N) and Eve.

"Are you two okay?" He asked.

"Yeah. We're fine," (Y/N) said.

"Thanks a lot! By the way, are you a robot, too?" Eve asked.

"Yeah. I'm Mega Man," the blue robot said.

"Nice to meet you, Mega Man. I'm (Y/N), and this, here, is Eve," (Y/N) introduced herself and Eve. "Oh, yeah. What were those angry robots?"

"Those robots? They were created by Dr. Wily," Mega Man explained. "Not only that, he even stole 6 of Dr. Light's robots in order to control them for world domination."

"That's... That's just cruel!" Eve said. "It's just barbaric at best!"

"Yeah, it is," Mega Man said. "Well, I better get going!" He said before heading out. Suddenly, (Y/N) called out to him.

"Wait!" She said. "Why don't we help you?"

"Thanks, but going after Wily is a lot more dangerous than you think it is," Mega Man said.

"I know that, but even if it's dangerous, it wouldn't hurt to have at least a little help," (Y/N) said. "Trust me. Me and Eve went through stuff like this before."

"Alright. First, I'll let Dr. Light know before we head off, but if things end up getting too dicey, you gotta run, okay?" Mega Man said.

"Got it!" (Y/N) and Eve said. The two then followed Mega Man to Dr. Light's lab.

Once they made it to the lab, they were greeted by an elder man in a white lab coat and a female robot with blonde hair and a red dress.

"Hmm... You're saying that you want to team up with Mega Man to go after Wily?" The elder man asked.

"Yes, Dr. Light. We get it. It might be very dangerous for us to do this, but believe me when I say we came across stuff like this before. So, please, let us go," (Y/N) pleaded.

Dr. Light was a bit unsure to send a human to accompany Mega Man, but he nodded. "Alright, but be very careful. Now that Dr. Wily has them under his control, they could be very hostile," he said.

"Don't worry, Dr. Light. We know what to do," Mega Man said.

"Good luck!" The red-dressed robot known as Roll said as Mega Man, (Y/N), and Eve headed out.
