Chapter 110

3rd Person POV

The next area the heroes journeyed towards to find the family members was some kind of funhouse. The funhouse had so many things that even the kids would enjoy. Clowns, rides, toys, everything. However, they seemed to be... dangerous as well.

"Woah! Is this some kind some kind of circus?" Eve asked

"Sort of. But there's no doubt the ghosts got a hold of this place, too," (Y/N) said.

"Melo!" Meloetta said with a nod.

"Which one's gonna be there now?" Ash asked

"We won't know for sure until we found out! Let's go!" Pac-Man said.

Everyone then began to traverse the entire carnival. And just as (Y/N) expected, there were traps disguised as funhouse props the entire time. Toy clowns were spewing out poison gas, bumper cars were ready to attack, and balloon platforms were ready pop if they don't quickly bounce off of them. Of course, it wouldn't be complete without the ghosts operating the area. Suddenly, as they saw someone in the distance.

"Who's that up there?" Goh asked.

Pac-Man then took a closer look at a higher cliff and saw a little girl holding a pink baby rattle wearing a pink bow trapped inside a cage. 

"Now, they got Pac-Sis, too? This isn't good," Pac-Man said.

"Then, we better hurry and save her!" (Y/N) said.

Everyone then began to move across the dangerous circling platforms before climbing up the higher platforms while avoiding clowns on airplanes. Once they finally reached the cage, (Y/N) broke it down with her staff, making Pac-Sis laugh with joy.

"There you are. Are you okay?" Pac-Man asked his daughter before picking her up. Pac-Sis began to laugh while shaking her bottle, happy to see her father again.

"Alright. We and your father's kinda busy with finding the others. Do you think you can wait outside for a while?" (Y/N) asked, making Pac-Sis nod. (Y/N) then used her magic to teleport Pac-Sis outside with the others they saved along the way.

"That's about four of them, right?" Goh asked.

"Yep. Only two more and we could settle the score with Toc-Man for sure," Pac-Man said.

Everyone then continued onward to leave the carnival. Suddenly, everyone, except Pac-Man, fell down a trap door, having themselves getting trapped in some kind of cage.

"Guys!" Pac-Man said.

"Pika?!" Pikachu said, shocked and confused.

"This is not looking good..." Ash said.

"How do we get out?!" Goh asked, panicking.

Suddenly, the cage was then picked up by a large hook, then it was moved to someplace else.

"We'll try to find a way out! Just be careful out there, Pac-Man!" (Y/N) yelled from the distance.

Pac-Man tried to find a way to catch up to the others being trapped until he spotted a go kart in front of him. He got on and began to speed up to catch up with the others. Suddenly, he came to a halt when Toc-Man made his arrival.

"Leaving so soon, Pac-Man?" Toc-Man taunted.

"Let my friends go, Toc-Man!" Pac-Man demanded.

"Aw, what's the rush for Pac-Man? I was just gonna introduce you to some new friends of mine. Over here, boys!" Toc-Man said.

Then, a group of eleven clowns arrived in their go karts as if they were getting ready for a race. Pac-Man then realized that he had no other choice than to play along with it if he wants to get his friends back. Then, at the start, the race began.

Meanwhile, at the finish line, (Y/N) and others were trying to figure a way out the cage. (Y/N) tried breaking it with her staff, but the cage was sturdier than the others.

"Darn it! Why won't it open?!" She said, frustratingly.

Eve tried to punch it, it still didn't budge. Pikachu tried tackling it. Still no sense of budging... or so they thought. Goh noticed a slight dent on the cage bars.

"Wait! You guys damaged it a bit! Try breaking it again!" He said.

"Well, I guess we don't have any other choice. Ready?" (Y/N) said.

She and the others then began to use their power to destroy the cage full-force. Although, they may have created an explosion.

"I didn't mean it like that..." Goh groaned.

"My bad," (Y/N) said.

Then, Pac-Man made it to the finish line while all the clowns behind him went after him before crashing.

"Pac-Man!" Eve said happily.

"Are you guys okay?" Pac-Man asked.

"Etta!" Meloetta said with a nod.

"Alright. Let's get outta here before more dangerous clowns end up showing up," (Y/N) said before everyone left the funhouse to look for other members of Pac-Man's family.
