Chapter 102

After returning to Rose Town, they found the whole village to be in peace again after the sudden attack from Bowyer. They then returned to Gaz's place. Gaz then saw them, along with Geno.

"Geno! You came back!" He said happily. "Mommy!" He then called out, causing his mother to arrive to the scene. "See, Mom? This is the Geno I was talking about!"

"My, my, what a fabulous costume! It must be kind of hot for the person wearing it, though," Gaz's mother said.

"Awww, forget it, mom," Gaz said before turning to Geno. "All right, Geno, let's play!"

Geno, however, shook his head. "How I wish I could! But Mario and I must leave now to find the missing Star Pieces," he said.

"Star Pieces? You mean like shooting stars? What for?" Gaz asked.

"Well... How can I explain this..."  Geno said before he and the others began to explain everything about the Star Pieces and the way things are now.

"Did you catch all that?" (Y/N) asked.

"Uh-uh... nope! You lost me," Gaz said, making everyone facefault.

"Well, let's just say that if things stay the way they are, your wishes will never come true," Geno said.

"Yeah. And we got Smithy to blame for that one," Ash said.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu cried.

"What?! So you mean even if I grow up, I won't ever be strong and cool like you?!" Gaz asked, shocked.

Geno nodded. "No one's wishes will come true until the Star Pieces are found and the Star Road is repaired," he said. "Which is why I have chosen to join these seven in order to find the  missing Star Pieces."

"So that's it! Well, Mario needs all the help he can get!" Gaz said, angering Mario while Mallow and Goh had to hold him back.

"C-Calm down, Mario! Calm down!" Goh said.

"You know what? I did see something sparkly fall somewhere around Moleville. Y'think that's one of those things you're looking for, Geno?" Gaz asked.

"That seems highly probable. We'll make Moleville our next stop. Thank you for telling us about it," Geno said.

"I'll be rooting for you! Please, go fix the Star Road, and make sure all my dreams come true!" Gaz said.

"That's a promise!" Geno said.

"Cool!" Gaz said.

"All right. To Moleville, we go!" Eve said before everyone went out until...

"Oh, wait! Wait a minute!" Gaz said, making everyone stop in their tracks. He then went to the living room, then came back with something. "This is yours, Geno, so take it along with YOU," he said, before giving said item to Geno.

"Thanks for being a good sport, Gaz. I'll see you when I get back," Geno said.

Everyone then left Rose Town to search for the Star Piece in Moleville. To get to that town, they need to head west past the Pipe Vault. Then, they finally made it to Moleville. As the name suggested, this village was located near the small mountains inhabited by moles.

"Where do you think the Star Piece is now?" Mallow asked.

"Let's try asking around," (Y/N) said.

The heroes then began to ask the townsfolk about the Star Piece falling near Moleville. Based on the information they gathered, the moles said that it fell and landed somewhere in the mountains. As they moved towards that area, they suddenly found Bowser and his minions. The only minions remaining where the Goombas and the Magikoopas.
