Chapter 72

3rd Person POV
According to the map presenting Castle Wily, the fortress was set into four segments with very strong enemies waiting. Meaning that the trio would have to take down each one if they want to take down Dr. Wily. After reviewing the map for a bit, the trio then made it inside the fortress.

"So, this is it. Castle Wily," Mega Man said.

"Yeah. Dr. Wily's waiting for us in here somewhere," (Y/N) said.

"But if he's waiting for us, then that means he's already prepared for this moment, right?" Eve said.

"Could be. That's why we better get ready ourselves," (Y/N) said. "Let's get going!"

The three then moved deeper into the first segment of the fortress. As they expected, it wasn't easy for them to navigate through the area. It was full of very dangerous traps and strong enemies designed by Dr. Wily to annihilate them. After a while, they reached the end. Then, yellow orbs began to swirl around and formed into a giant, yellow robot with a dark eye on its head.

"Bumo! Bumomomomomomo! Bumo!" The big robot said.

"Please, let us go! We don't have time for this!" Mega Man said.

"Bumomomo! Bumo!" The yellow robot responded.

"I don't think this guy's gonna let us go easily. We better take him out!" (Y/N) said as they all prepared for a fight.

Before the trio was about to take react, pieces of the big robot came apart and started rushing at them. (Y/N) and Eve put up a shield to block them, but the orbs' force was so strong that it caused the shield to break and deal damage.

"Darn it! This guy's a lot tougher than I thought!" (Y/N) said.

"Then, we better hit him back with everything we got!" Mega Man said as he tranformed to his Thunder Beam form. (Y/N) put the lightning charm in her compact and transformed into her thunder form.

Once the yellow robot formed back in the left side, (Y/N) and Mega Man began to send their thunder attacks at the eye, which was the weak point. The yellow robot did the split apart trick again, but the three learned this trick as they kept dodged every piece coming their way. As the cycle repeated, (Y/N), Eve, and Mega Man kept attacking the eye until the big robot was destroyed.

"Sheesh... I guess Dr. Wily never wants to make this easy for us," (Y/N) said.

"Yeah. He's serious this time," Eve said. "And so are we!"

"Right! Let's move!" Mega Man said.
