Chapter 103

After the mole family's house, they spotted four black Snifits chasing around a flying beetle. Suddenly, the beetle came back and landed on Mario's hat, making (Y/N) shiver in fear, considering the fact that she's not much of a big fan of bugs herself. Then, the Snifits came back and looked at the heroes as if they did something.

"Don't you dare touch that beetle! It's a present for Booster," Snifit 1 said.

"That's right! Just hand it over nice and easy," Snifit 2 said.

"Uh... Yeah... Like they said... Or we won't be your friend..." Snifit 3 said.

"What are you on about? We're not trying to take it!" (Y/N) said.

"Like why do you even need it anyway?" Eve said.

"Booster really, really, REALLY likes beetles! But he can't catch his own," Snifit 1 said.

"That's right. He's busy keeping the princess from the sky entertained," Snifit 2 said.

"So we're catching beetles for him," Snifit 3 said.

"Oh," Ash said.

"So hand it over!" Snifit 1 said.

"That's right!" Snifit 2 said.

"Uh... Pretty please?" Snifit 3 said.

"Are you even listening?! We're not trying to take it!" Goh said.

Suddenly, the beetle then flew up and away, leaving the Snifits to go and chase after it again.

"Phew... Finally they're off our backs. I mean, what's their problem?" (Y/N) said.

"Hmm... I might be paranoid, but did you hear them mention anything about the 'princess from the sky'?" Geno asked.

"'Princess from the sky...' I don't think I've heard of someone like that," Mallow said.

"I didn't. Have you, buddy?" Ash asked his Pokemon partner.

"Pika..." Pikachu said, shaking its head.

"Yeah. In fact, there's nothing about this 'princess from the sky,' unless..." Mario said. Suddenly, everyone remembered the giant sword piercing Bowser's castle and blasting Mario, Peach, and Bowser away. Then, they finally connected the dots.

"Princess Peach!" They all said in unison.

"Those guys took her! Let's hurry!" (Y/N) said. 

Everyone then rushed after the three Snifits through Booster Pass, a barren wasteland next to Moleville. Let's forget about the enemies ready to attack there took. Such as the Artichoker, Carroboscis, and Spikester. After a long chase, they went and encountered a large tower. There, a familiar face stood. Bowser.

"Booster has such a nice place... I miss my fortress. I miss the good old days..." Bowser sighed. "Peach screaming in terror, Mario rushing in to save her..."

"Bowser?" Mario said, catching his archnemesis' attention.

"Oh geez, it's Mario!" Bowser yelled before turning around. "Oops. OK, OK... calm down! Don't let him see you like this!" Hen then turned around to face Mario and others. "Hey, how have you been?"

The others looked at Bowser dumbfounded with a sweatdrop.

'What is happening...?' (Y/N) thought.

Bowser turned around in embarrassment. "No! Not like that, you dummy! Wrong tone! It needs more... confidence!" He said to himself before turning to the others. "YOU! What are you doing here?!"

"We should be asking you the same thing! What are YOU doing here?" Goh said.

"If Peach were at my castle waiting to be rescued... she'd be crying like a baby!" Bowser said.
