Chapter 32

3rd Person POV
(Y/N) and co. have made their way into a lush jungle, which is Chucklechuck Woods. Many trees have been decorated with ripe Chuckola Fruits hanging on them.

"So, this is Chucklehuck Woods," (Y/N) said.

"Woah. Look at all those fruit. Are those Chuckola Fruits?" Goh asked.

"Alright, everyone. Stay close. This forest may be as amazing as you think, but it's easy to get lost in here," Mario said. Everyone nodded as they kept walking.

As they kept journeying into the forest, they noticed a forest clearing and started to go there. Then, a pair of yellow eyes stared at them from the darkness, which creeped out (Y/N), Eve, Luigi, and Goh. Then, a huge living tree stepped forward to them.

"I am Chuckleroot, protector of woods. Ahead is great tree: Mother Chuckola. Only some may pass. Some who find all three kinds of Chuckola Fruit," the big tree known as Chuckleroot said.

"Okay. What kind of Chuckola Fruit?" Ash asked.

"White Chuckola Fruit, Red Chuckola Fruit, Purple Chuckola Fruit. Find these three types of Chuckola Fruit here. Then I let you pass," Chuckleroot said.

"Okay, but where can we find them?" Luigi asked.

"Chuckola Fruit I seek can be found within areas left and right of me. They are not far," Chuckleroot answered.

"A scavenger hunt, huh? Sounds fair. Alright, everyone. Let's get to searching," (Y/N) said. Everyone then headed out to search for the three Chuckola Fruits.

They had two Chuckola Fruits with them. As they came across a clearing, they encountered a smaller Chuckleroot with a bow that popped up in front of them.

"I am the granddaughter of the great Chuckleroot... This is my room. And may I say, how DARE you enter a woman's room uninvited?" She said.

"We're really sorry. We didn't even notice," (Y/N) said. Chuckleroot's granddaughter then shrugged.

"Well...since you're here... I'll share my secret with you..." She said before crawling to a particular spot on the ground.

"Have you noticed spots on the ground that look like this? These are spots where beans are buried in the ground. If one digs beneath the earth, the beans will pop out of the spot on the ground. Did you get that?" She said. Everyone then nodded.

"Good," she said before yawning. "I'm sleepy...there are beans lying buried around here...they're yours if you like," she said before returning to the ground.

After getting used to their new tactics, (Y/N) and co. found themselves deep in the forest. There, they found a wall with a huge yellow caterpillar known as Wiggler stuck in it.

"Poor guy. It looks like he's stuck," Ash said.

"Why don't we help him out?" Mario said. Luigi nodded as he and Mario tried to push him through, but it didn't budge a bit. They then tried tackling him, but it only made him budge a bit, making him go through the hole.

"Hopefully, it didn't hurt," (Y/N) said. Luig then shrunk Mario with his hammer. Mario then went through the hole but then came out, scared. Luigi tried to check what's inside but jumped back in fear of a red angry Wiggler.

"I guess it did," Eve said. Wiggler was about to attack, and everyone began to prepare for a fight.

After Luigi turned Mario back to normal, Wiggler began to charge at Luigi, in which Luigi dodged. However, not only did he dodge, but he also jumped on one of Wiggler's red segments, turning it into a bright yellow. (Y/N) then had an idea.
