Chapter 66

Their first destination was somewhere at a construction site. A lot of construction workers used to come to this place to build, but since one of Dr. Light's robots have been spotted while under Dr. Wily's control, most workers decided to avoid the area.

"So, this is the place, right?" (Y/N) asked.

"Yeah. That's where Guts Man was spotted," Mega Man.

"Got it, but why would Guts Man be in a place like this?" Eve asked.

Mega Man shook his head. "I'm not sure, but whatever the case, we need to stop Guts Man before it gets any worse for the workers," he said.

The trio then moved forward to find Guts Man. However, it wasn't easy to search as there were enemies that stood in their way, such as Mets, Bunby Helis, and a Big Eye, which was the toughest enemy they fought so far.

Then, once they reached the inside of a cave, an earthquake was felt beneath their feet. Then, out from under a big rock somewhere, Guts Man appeared.

"Hey, men only! Little kids don't belong here. Go home before you get hurt!" He said.

"You're forming a gang full of aggressive robots. Time to punch out and go home, Guts Man," Mega Man said.

"Yeah. It's just not right. You need to disband," Eve said.

"There's no disbanding this group, kids! Strong men deserve this!" Guts Man said.

"Okay... If we can't convince you with our words..." (Y/N) said before she and the others readied themselves. "... Then we'll let our actions do the talking."

"Heh! Bring it on!" Guts Man said.

He then started off by jumping at the trio with a hammer slam. Luckily, they moved out of the way of the smash, but the attack was so strong that it made a rocks fall down from the ceiling.

"This is not gonna be easy," (Y/N) said. She then casted an Iron Blossom above everyone, protecting them from the falling rocks.

"Thanks, (Y/N)!" Mega Man said as he started shooting at Guts Man.

Guts Man then picked up a large rock from the ground with one hand and threw it at the trio. Suddenly, Eve came in and broke it with a punch. Guts Man tried to do the same attacks, but with the trio overpowering him, he failed and fell to his defeat. They then looked at the fallen Guts Man.

"Geez... Now, I feel bad," (Y/N) said.

"Yeah, me, too. I mean, this is one of Dr. Light's robots, right?" Eve said.

"True. It's insane that Dr. Wily would take control of a robot like Guts Man for his plans," Mega Man said.

Suddenly, a light began to form around him, and energy from Guts Man began to move to Mega Man to (Y/N) and Eve's surprise.

"What was that?!" (Y/N) said.

"I don't know. It's like... Guts Man's power just moved to me," Mega Man said. "Anyway, let's head back to the lab."
