Chapter 114

3rd Person POV

After leaving Papu Papu's hut, the heroes then went forward to another area of ruins with the same rolling stone traps they encountered earlier. This time, there were smaller platforms that could only take one person at a time to move forward.

After surviving this area, they moved on to the next one. The next area was vast. There, they saw a group of 4 hogs standing in the distance.

"Pika?" Pikachu said, curious about the hogs.

"What are these hogs doing here?" (Y/N) asked.

"Beats me," Ash said.

Crash, on the other hand, wasted no time. He immediately got on one of the hogs, startling the hog and making it dash forward.

"C'mon, guys! Catch up!" He shouted at the others from the distance.

"Etta," Meloetta said, surprised.

"Can he at least think rationally?" Goh said with a sweatdrop.

"We better hurry and catch up before he ends up getting lost," Eve said.

Everyone else got on a hog, with Pikachu holding on to Ash and Meloetta and Eve holding on to (Y/N), and the hogs immediately began to take off. Riding hogs would be more than just a wild ride, though. There were also spike traps and people with shields trying to block their path. Luckily, thanks to the heroes steering the hogs' directions, despite having little to no experience, they breezed through them all. Suddenly, they were about to smash to a house in the distance.

"Wait! Wait! WAIT!!" (Y/N) yelled. However, to their dismay, they all crashed inside a hut. This happened to Crash as well. 

"You guys okay...?" Crash asked.

"Sort of..." Ash groaned.

*timeskip*

After recovering from the aftermath of the hog situation, everyone then continued onward until they encountered a fortress. The fortress was almost the same at the gate, but it had flame traps that would burn the gang into a crisp if they're not careful. Afterward, they traveled up to a ravine. This one, however, had even more dangerous piranhas who kept biting, growing impatient for the gang to show up in their mouths.

"Can't they just hold still already?" Eve said, annoyed.

After treading through the river, they went to a ruins by a waterfall. Suddenly, an odd blue kangaroo in a straight jacket appeared.

"Who's that?" Ash asked.

"No idea. He's seems kinda... crazy, to be honest," Crash said.

"Nah. 'Insane' is more like it," (Y/N) said.

Suddenly, without uttering a single word and just making insane faces, Ripper Roo immediately began to stomp at the others, causing everyone to move out of the way.

"Pika!" Pikachu said.

"Crepes! Can't this guy just calm down?!" Goh said.

"He's probably got mental issues, which kinda explains the straight jacket," Eve said.

Suddenly, Meloetta spotted TNT crates floating in the water.

"Etta! Meloetta! Melo!" It said as it pointed at the crates.

"Huh? You want to use those TNT's?" (Y/N) asked her Pokémon, making it nod. "Well, if you think it'll help, then, I guess it would do."

While everyone began to dodge Ripper Roo's hops, Crash went over and stepped on one of the TNT'S, getting it ready to detonate. Then, Ripper Roo began to chase Crash, and as soon as he went near the TNT, it exploded on him, dealing damage.

"Meloetta, you genius!" Crash said.

Everyone then began to repeat the strategy to take down Ripper Roo. It won't be any easy, though, since Ripper Roo began to hop faster as it goes on. Luckily, with the heroes' efforts, he finally gave up and hopped out of the ruins and fell down the waterfall.

"Phew. Thank goodness that's over with," Eve said.

"Yeah. Now, let's keep going. Tawna shouldn't have gone far," Crash said
