Chapter 143

Everyone continued to fly throughout the Moon Kingdom until they were close enough, causing Klonoa to signal Pamela to stop.

"Stop, Pamela! We'll take it from here," he said as everyone jumped to the entrance of the Moon Kingdom.

"Thanks a lot, Pamela," Eve said.

"Etta!" Meloetta said with a nod.

"My pleasure. I'm glad to be of help," Pamela said. "Everyone... Do be careful."

"Don't worry. We will," (Y/N) said.

Pamela then began to fly away back to the land, leaving the others at the Moon Kingdom.

"Well, we know what to do, right?" Eve said.

"Yeah. Go in the Moon Kingdom, give Ghadius a beating, and stop the nightmare from plaguing the world!" (Y/N) said.

"Melo!" Meloetta said.

"That's the plan! Let's go, Huepow!" Klonoa said.

However, Huepow seemed to be feeling down, as if he was worried about something.

"Melo?" Meloetta said.

"Huepow? Are you okay?" (Y/N) asked.

"What's the matter, Huepow?" Klonoa asked.

"Um... It's nothing," Huepow said. "Everyone! Ghadius... His plans... We've got to put an end to them!"

"Sure!" Klonoa said.

"Alright! Let's go!" (Y/N) said.

Everyone then entered through the door of the Moon Kingdom and began to traverse through the large castle. In the palace, loads and loads of monsters sent by Ghadius lurked throughout the castle, trying to prevent the gang from progressing any further. There were even traps lying and waiting to strike the intruders when they least expect it. Also, there were areas that required a crystal of a certain color to be broken if they were to continue to certain area. After a long and rough journey, the gang made it on a pad, making it take them to the top corridor.

"Prince Huepow! Prince Huepow!" A voice spoke.

Then, came running to them was a small royal guard of the Moon Kingdom.

"Oh! Sire! We've been waiting for you," the guard said. "My sincerest apologies. Our kingdom has been taken over by someone named Ghadius."

"What?!" Huepow said, shocked.

Everyone looked at Huepow, hen the guard before being left with looks of shock on their faces.

"HUH?! You're a prince?!" (Y/N) and Eve said out loud.

"We were careless..." Another voice said.

Then, a female royal arrived to explain the entire situation.

"He trapped the Diva Lephise in the egg below, and is now pouring energy from nightmares into it," she said.

"Mother..." Huepow said.

'AND HE HAS A QUEEN FOR A MOM?! WHAT THE FRENCH TOAST?!' (Y/N) and Eve thought in utter shock.

"If that egg is released, it will be disastrous for everyone," the Moon Queen said.

"I understand. Mother, please keep yourselves out of harm's way," Huepow said.

"Mother?" Klonoa said, confused.

"Huepow... Who are you, really?" (Y/N) asked.

Huepow then looked down, realizing that there was no point in hiding the truth about himself any longer.
