3rd Person POV
(Y/N) opened her eyes and started making up her surroundings. The location she was in reminded her of someplace familiar.

"Is this... the Mushroom Kingdom?" She asked.

"Looks like it," Eve said. "It kinda looks a little... different from what I remember it."

(Y/N) took another look around at the kingdom and its residents. "Now that you mention it, yeah, it does," she said. "Why don't we visit Peach? Hopefully, she doesn't mind."

"Yeah. Let's go!" Eve said.

The two then made their way to the castle. However, getting there wasn't easy since they had to ask the residents for directions.

Suddenly, once they entered the castle, an earthquake shook the area, leaving the people inside the castle terrified and worried.

"What was that?!" (Y/N) said.

Then, Eve sensed something evil and familiar lurking inside the castle walls. "It's coming from... over there! Let's hurry, Mama!" She said.

(Y/N) nodded before she and Eve hurried to the location where the evil presence Eve felt earlier was strongest. Once they arrived in said area, they encountered two familiar faces. Mario and Peach.

Peach immediately turned to the girl and the small dragon. "Oh? Who could you be? And why do you both look so panicked?" She asked.

"Princess! There might be––!" (Y/N) said.

Suddenly, the (H/C)-ette was interrupted by the sound of glass breaking. Through the window barged in Bowser and a Kamek.

"Gwaa ha ha ha ha ha! Long time no see, Princess Peach!" Bowser said.

"Bowser!" Eve said, glaring at the Koopa king.

"... Bowser! But this can't be! It was you who made the ground shake just now, wasn't it? Whatever did you do?" Peach said.

"Gwa ha ha ha! Yeah, that was me! I've lifted your castle up into the sky! It's sitting on my castle now! Weren't expecting that, huh?" Bowser said. "Ha! This castle's under my control now, my dear! Now you will obey ME!"

Suddenly, Mario, (Y/N), and Eve stood against him to protect the princess.

"Really? The Princess obeys YOU? Like that's gonna happen!" (Y/N) scolded.

"Give up, Bowser! The Princess would never fall for someone like you!" Mario said.

"Huh?! What? It's... Mario!! And... a brat with an overgrown lizard? What a shock!" Bowser said. "Ha! Not really! I expected you to turn up, right on cue. Except for those two. You're just as annoying as ever."

Bowser's insult struck Eve's nerves. "WHO ARE YOU CALLING AN OVERGROWN LIZARD, YOU JERK?!" Eve growled. "I'M A DRAGON! A DRAGON!!"

"Whatever," Bowser shrugged. "Unfortunately for you, there's nothing you can do this time."

"Haven't you learned your lesson by now, Bowser?" Peach said. "You can never defeat Mario! I bet you can't even defeat the girl and her dragon! Why don't you give up already?"

'Y'know, Peach, it's nice to give some words of support, even though we only just met,' (Y/N) thought.

"True, true, I have some problems in the past...But this time is different! This time I'm gonna win!" Bowser said. "OK, tough guy! And you brats, too! Let's go!"

"Okay, but don't start crying once we kick your butt!" (Y/N) said. "Stay back, Princess Peach!"

"You can do it!" Peach cheered.
