Chapter 54

Everyone made it to Tails' workshop. Tails was busy making preparations to catch up with Eggman.

"Wait here for a second, guys," Tails said as he went inside.

"What do you think the Tornado's like?" Ash asked.

"Just wait 'til ya see it," Sonic said.

Then, the ground in front of the workshop opened up, revealing a roadway and pushing the pine trees out of the way. Then, out of the workshop's garage came Tails in his Tornado.

"No way!" Ash said.

"Sonic! Hop in!" Tails said. Sonic then got on top of the Tornado. Then, Eve used her power to transform into a bigger dragon. The other then got on her back.

"We'll go with you guys!" Arle said.

"Gu gu!" Carbuncle said.

"Alright! Let's go!" Tails said. The Tornado and Eve then flew to the sky to chase Eggman.

As they traversed through the clouds, the Egg Carrier was in sight.

"There it is! The Egg Carrier!" Tails said.

Suddenly, the airship began to fire missiles at the Tornado and Eve. But Tails fired back at the missiles with laser. Eve began to spit out stars at the missiles. The missiles were coming from every part of the Egg Carrier. The deck, the wings, the cannons, everywhere. After a while, the enemy fired ceased.

"We did it!" Tails cheered.

"Nice job, guys!" Ringo said.

Suddenly, unknown to everyone, the Egg Carrier from behind released a huge cannon from the front and fire an energy laser, hitting both the Tornado and Eve, causing them to fall.

"Ahhh! My wing! I can barely stay airborne...!" Eve panicked

"We're going down! Hang on!" Tails shouted.

Sonic, (Y/N), Amitie, and Eve, who was reverted to her chibi dragon form, fell on shore of the beach near Station Square.

(Y/N) slowly opened her eyes. "Mngh... Huh...? Where...?" She said as she looked around. She then noticed Eve lying on the ground.

"Eve!" She said worriedly. She then ran to her to pick her up.

"Eve! Eve! Are you okay?!" She asked.

Luckily, Eve slowly opened her eyes. "Mama...?" She said.

"Eve... Thank goodness, you're okay," (Y/N) sighed in relief. As she began to heal the small dragon, she then heard a familiar voice.

"Tails? Tails??" It said. It was Sonic's voice. Sonic then jumped and got his head out of the sand. He then noticed the duo.

"(Y/N)! Eve!" He said. He then ran up to them. "How's Eve? Is she doing okay?"

"She's fine... It's just that her wing took the hit," (Y/N) said.

"Guys!" Another voice called out. It was Amitie's voice. She then ran up to them.

"I'm glad you guys are okay!" She said. "By the way, where are the others?"

"We don't know," Sonic said.

"Let's try searching the city. We find them there," Eve said. Everyone else nodded and started moving into Station Square.

"I hope their alright..." (Y/N) said.

"Yeah. Me, too," Sonic said.

As they searched around the city for their friends, a voice called out to Sonic.
