Chapter 71

3rd Person POV
The last robot master controlled by Dr. Wily was Bomb Man. He was recently found in a different kind of facility. Thanks to the explosives set off by Bomb Man, many workers strayed away from the place, hoping the explosions wear off soon.

"So, people have been staying away from the place because of Bomb Man's out-of-control explosions, right?" (Y/N) said.

"Seems like it," Eve said. "A normal person would get severe injuries from those things."

"If that's the case, then we better stop Bomb Man before it gets any worse!" Mega Man said.

Everyone then headed further into the facility. Surprising to them, it was a tiny bit easier to go through than they originally thought it would be. However, that doesn't mean that there won't be tough enemies to stop them in their tracks. As they went to the furthest area, an explosion appeared before them. And there he was. Bomb Man.

"Where d'ya think you guys are going? Let's have a bit of fun with some explosives!" Bomb Man said as he took out a bomb.

"Yikes! That's extremely dangerous, Bomb Man!" Mega Man, intimidated by the bomb.

"Seriously! Cut it out with the bombs!" (Y/N) said.

"Aw, come on! Don't be such party poopers! You should have come here the day before yesterday! I was having a blast back then!" Bomb Man said before throwing a bomb at the trio, making them move out of the way before it exploded.

While Mega Man was doing the attacking, (Y/N) and Eve had to resort in knocking the bombs back at Bomb Man, which did some decent damage.

"Heh... You're not doing too bad yourselves," Bomb Man said. He then took an even bigger bomb. "But the fun's just gettin' started!" He then threw the giant Bomb at them.

"Eve!" (Y/N) said to Eve. Eve nodded, and the two girls moved up to the Bomb and tried knocking it back at Bomb Man. Unfortunately, it didn't land on him. Instead, it went up to the air and exploded. Luckily, nothing was crumbling down.

After they reached land, (Y/N) turned to Mega Man after taking out the fire charm out of her bag. "Let's do it, Mega Man!" She said.

"Yeah!" Mega Man said. (Y/N) inserted the fire charm in her compact, making her transform into her fire form while Mega Man tapped on Fire Storm, turning his armor silver and red.

As Bomb Man took out a bomb to throw, (Y/N) sent out a fire ball at the bomb, making it explode on Bomb Man. Then, once his guard was lowered, Mega Man then shot a Fire Storm at him, spelling his defeat.

"And that's why you should never play with explosives!" Eve said.

"Well said, Eve. Well said," (Y/N) said as she turned back to normal.

"We got all 6. Let's head back to Dr. Light's lab," Mega Man said.

*timeskip*

"Welcome back, everyone!" Roll said happily.

"I must say, it wasn't easy for you to take care of all six robots, but I'm glad you all pulled through," Dr. Light said. "I'm proud of you all."

Suddenly, static appeared on the big screen.

"What just happened?!" (Y/N) said, surprised.

"Is there something wrong with the signal?" Eve asked.

As soon as the static disappeared, Dr. Wily appeared on the screen.

"Dr. Wily?!" Everyone said in unison.

"Six robots sent to the scrap heap," Dr. Wily said. "I guess your robots are not very special!" He said with a laugh.

"How awful!" Roll said.

"Dr. Wily... How could you?" Dr. Light said.

"Oh, what's this? Feeling sorry for yourself, Dr. Light?" Dr. Wily taunted. "If you're looking for me, I'm currently at my fortress Castle Wily! So, come along and don't disappoint me! Hahahahahaha!" The footage then cut off.

"Looks like Dr. Wily means business," (Y/N) said.

"Yeah. This is our chance to put a stop to Dr. Wily once and for all!" Mega Man said.

"It's time to teach that big jerk a lesson!" Eve said.

"Alright. Good luck, everyone!" Roll said.

"And be very careful," Dr. Light said.

The three nodded and headed for Dr. Wily's castle.
