Chapter 68

3rd Person POV
Their next target is a robot named Elec Man, who specializes in electricity. He was spotted at an electrical power plant. People were confused as to why their devices weren't working as they hoped, and Elec Man, now under Dr. Wily's control, was the culprit.

"A power plant, huh? Kinda fits," (Y/N) said.

"People were panicking over the lights and devices not working. There's no doubt, Dr. Wily has something to do with this," Mega Man said.

"A blackout?" Eve asked.

Mega Man nodded. "It could be. Let's hurry and clean this up before it gets any worse!" He said as they all moved forward.

Navigating through the power plant wasn't easy for them. Not only were there enemy robots, but there were also traps, including electrical beams.

Once they reached the end of the power plant, a bolt of lightning struck down in front of them, and then Elec Man appeared.

"I commend you all for making it all the way here, but I'm afraid you'll have to fall here," Elec Man said.

"Look, Elec Man. We don't have any reason to fight you. Let's just go home," Mega Man.

"Trying to blast through my heart with that attitude? Oh, please," Elec Man said before shooting a beam of electricity at the trio, making them move out of the way.

Mega Man, Eve, and (Y/N) started shooting buster shots and Star Bubbles at Elec Man while the ladder shot out electricity beams at them.

The clash lasted for a while until Elec Man decided it was time for him to get serious. He then sent down thunderbolts at them. It was tough for them to dodge them all. Then, Eve had an idea.

"Mega Man! You have Cut Man's power, right? Try it!" She said.

Mega Man nodded and touched Rolling Cutter on his Mega Buster's screen, and his armor became gray.
Then, a pair of scissors appeared on his hand. He threw it at Elec Man, which missed but came back and struck him like a boomerang.

"Ngh...! You..." Elec Man said.

"Keep it up, Mega Man! We'll keep him busy!" (Y/N) said.

"Got it!" Mega Man said.

(Y/N) and Eve had to distract Elec Man with their attacks while Mega Man sneak attacks with his Rolling Cutters. They kept it up for a while until they finally defeated Elec Man. Then, Elec Man's powers coarsed to Mega Man.

"Man, that was tough," (Y/N) said.

"You're not wrong there, Mama," Eve said.

"Yeah, but the next robots might end up being tougher than the last," Mega Man said. "Let's keep it up!"
