Chapter 51

3rd Person POV
In a flash, everyone found themselves in a large city. It was currently nighttime, and the streets were filled with people and cars.

"Where are we?" Eve asked.

"I mean... I've been to Sonic's wotld before, but this... this is new," Arle said. Then, something was heard from the distance. They looked and saw a bunch of police cars zoom past them.

"What's going on?" Ash asked.

"Something's gotta be up," (Y/N) said. "Let's check it out!" Everyone nodded and headed to where the police was going. Meanwhile, along blue hedgehog-like figure was interested in the situation. He also went in to check it out.

*timeskip*

Once they got to the location, light rain began to fall. They noticed a bunch of police cars and the SWAT team surrounding a creature filled with water. It also had something that's resembled some kind of visible brain inside it.

"You are completely surrounded! Surrender yourself!" The SWAT team leader said.

"Lock on target, men! Ready? Fire!" At the leader's command, the SWAT team began to shoot at the water monster. Unfortunately, the bullets were no match for it.

"Oh, no! Our weapons are useless!" The commander said in fear. "Retreat! All personel, fall back!" The entire SWAT team then started to run.

"What is that thing?" Amitie asked.

(Y/N) then took out the lightning charm out of her bag. "I don't know, but something tells me that he needs to be dealt with immediately," she said. She then put the charm in her compact.

(Y/N) then leaped in front of the water monster.

"You!" She said. "Are you the one trying to hurt people?" The water creature was unresponsive.

"Okay... Not much of a talker, I see," (Y/N) said. Then, a blue hedgehog with red shoes and green eyes leaped down from above on top of one of the police cars.

"Aw, yeah! This could be fun!" He said. (Y/N) looked at him confused but then noticed something about him.

'Wait a second... A blue hedgehog... could he be...?' She thought. The blue hedgehog then looked at the (H/C)-haired girl.

"Hey! You're in for a piece of the pie, too?" He asked.

"You could say that," (Y/N) said. "By the way, who are you?"
The blue hedgehog smirked. "I'm Sonic! Sonic the Hedgehog," he introduced.

(Y/N) smiled. "Nice to meet you! I'm (Y/N) (L/N). Call me (Y/N)," she said before turning to the water creature. "Now, let's get him!"

The water monster started to shoot a blast of water from his hands at each of them. Luckily, the two dodged by leaping in the air. Sonic went first by jumping from the top of City Hall and spinning towards the water monster, hitting it successfully.

"Nice shot!" (Y/N) said.

The water monster then jumped into the air, hovering above the area. He then shot out more blasts of water at the two, but they were avoided one by one. As soon as the water monster landed back onto the ground, (Y/N) then shot a ball of electricity at the monster, shocking him. It was enough to turn him into a large water puddle.

"Ooh! Shocking!" Sonic commented.

The water monster, now in the form of a puddle, began to move away.

"It's getting away!" (Y/N) said as she and Sonic chased after it.

"C'mon, ya big drip! Where ya goin'?" Sonic said to the puddle. The puddle made its escape by going in a nearby drain. Then, the others arrived at the scene.

"Wow... That was weird..." Ash said.

"Pika..." Piakchu said.

"Just what is it that we're dealing with here?" Ringo asked.

Meanwhile, on top of a building, a man with an egg-shaped body looked on.

"You know nothing, fools! It's Chaos, the God of Destruction," he said. "HAHAHAHAHA!"
