Chapter 124

The gang arrived at Gobi's Valley. The vast desert was covered in mostly sand with some parts flowing like rivers moving downstream. There were also pyramids lying.

"So, this is Gobi's Valley," Banjo said.

"And that's a LOT of sand covering the place. A WHOLE LOT of sand," Eve said.

"Etta," Meloetta said with a nod.

"Hopefully, I don't get sand in my shoe..." (Y/N) said.

"Please. That's nothing compared to getting sand on my feather's. I hate that feeling," Kazooie said.

As they moved through the desert, they instantly found and rescued a yellow Jinjo standing on a platform surrounded by flowing sand. As they moved past a small oasis, they went up a mountain of flowing sand and moved through the stairway edges to until they reached a temple. There, they were able to rescue a green Jinjo. Suddenly, the path to the inside of the temple was opened, and they all hurried inside.

Inside, there was a reward waiting for them if they complete the matching puzzle at the time limit of 100 seconds. Luckily, as forty seconds passed, they finally finished the puzzle, earning themselves a Jiggy.

As soon as they went out of the temple, they saw a magic carpet flying around. They got on it, and the magic carpet flew to a spot with a worried camel. Banjo and Kazooie destroyed the rock that was in front of the came, making it reveal a Jiggy.

"Here's your reward. Gobi's off to cool down," the camel said before taking off.

"What was that all about...?" Eve asked, confused.

"No idea," Kazooie said as she picked up the Jiggy.

Afterward, the gang got on the magic carpet again, and the magic carpet flew to another temple. They went passed the temple until they reached the back of a sphinx. Banjo and Kazooie then began to fly and went between a ring. Suddenly, in the distance, another ring appeared, and voice began to boom out.

"Summon all the hidden rings of the ancients to beat the witch!" It said.

"Do you think he knows about Gruntilda?" (Y/N) asked.

"Maybe," Banjo said.

Without further ado, the gang began to fly and went through the rings of the ancients. As they went through one, more began to appear throughout Gobi's Valley. As they went through the the last ring, the sphinx began to speak again.

"Only joking mortals! We can only give you this..." He said. Then, a Jiggy appeared on his back.

Everyone then went back to the sphinx's back and retrieved the Jiggy.

"Uh... If you don't bind..." The sphinx said.

"Etta?" Meloetta said.

"By dose is all blocked up!" The sphinx said.

"Huh?" Banjo said, confused.

"He said his nose is blocked up. Probably because of all that sand," Kazooie said.

Banjo and Kazooie then went to the sphinx's face and shot an egg in the left nostril.

"Hey! Dat tickles!" The sphinx said.

The duo then shot another egg in the right nostril, making the sphinx sneeze, and the door on him opened.

"Ah... That cleared Jinxy's nose. Come on it!" The sphinx said.

The gang then went inside the cave inside Jinxy. Once they were inside, they came across four flying magic carpets standing still. Kazooie shot an egg at the mouth of a smaller Jinxy, making the magic carpet fly up higher to a another magic carpet with an orange Jinjo on it. They rescued the Jinjo and continued moving deeper into the temple while shooting eggs the smaller Jinxy's mouths to make the magic carpets fly higher. Then, once they reached the end, they obtained another Jiggy.
