Chapter 47

3rd Person POV
In no time flat, everyone made it to the entrance to Bowser's Castle as soon as Eve landed next to Blablanadon before reverting back to her chibi dragon form.

"I'll be waiting here for you. Just talk to me if you want to leave this castle," Blablanadon said.

"Got it. Let's not waste any time! Let's do this!" (Y/N) said.

Everyone then began to rush into the castle. As they journeyed inside, they encountered and faced enemies that were usually Bowser's minions, such as Hammer Bros. and Boos. They also encountered new enemies, including the Gunner Guys.

"They were Bowser's minions, right?" Arle asked. "Why would they team up with Cackl– I mean, Bowletta? I mean, that really isn't the Bowser they always know, right?"

"It's probably because they still remember Bowser's body. They just don't realize that Cackletta has full control of it," Eve said.

"When you put it like that, it kinda makes sense," Mario said.

As they went into a room, a Koopaling appeared before them.

"Iggy Koopa!" Mario said.

"Even the Koopalings are involved in this as well?! This isn't good!" Luigi said.

Then, Iggy then got on top of his giant ball and began to circle around the gang, making them dizzy. After jumping on a platform, he then began to taunt them to attack him.

"That does it! Time to teach this troublemaker a lesson!" Amitie said.

Everyone then went to the platform to reach Iggy after regaining their senses.

"Finally made it here, eh? Bahahaha! Prepare to be royally clobbered!" He said he took out his wand. With a flick of his wand, he made a peculiar change.

"Uh... does anyone else feel weird, or is it just me?" Ringo asked.

Everyone then looked at themselves, trying to figure out what had changed. 

"I switched your strengths, punks! BAHAHAHA! Thank me later!" Iggy said.

"Why you...!" Mario said angrily.

"Does that mean some of us got weaker?" Luigi asked worriedly.

"Strength swap, huh? Do you really think that's gonna be  enough to give up?" (Y/N) said.

"Huh? And what's it to you?" Iggy asked.

"The thing is... just because you swapped our strengths," (Y/N) said as she took out her thunder charm. "... Doesn't mean we became weak." The (H/C)-ette then inserted the charm in her compact, ready to transform.

"Oh. I see how it is! Ready, Luigi?" Mario asked his brother.

"Okay, bro!" Luigi nodded.

Mario and Luigi then began to use their Swing Bros attack. (Y/N), Eve, and Pikachu followed suit by combining both of their lightning-based at Iggy, giving him shocks.

Iggy got angry and used his spinning attack on the gang, but they weren't prone to fall for the trick. They dodged it. Amitie and Arle went in to finish him off with their lightning magic, defeating him spectacularly.  As soon as the battle was over, everyone got their respective strengths back.

"It feels great to have your own strength back, huh, buddy?" Ash asked his yellow mouse partner.

"Pika!" Pikachu said.
