Chapter 64

Once (Y/N)'s eyes have opened, a somewhat familiar place was in sight. It was a city with large buildings. In fact, she noticed she was in a place way above it.

"What is this place?" She said. She looked around and noticed that neither Claris nor Elliot are with her.

"Am I alone this time?" She pondered. Once she looked down, she noticed NiGHTS inside an Ideya Capture.

"NiGHTS!" She said as she ran up to them. Suddenly, a strange force pushed her away from NiGHTS, separating the both of them.

"What in the–?" (Y/N) said.

She then looked down at the entire city cloaked in darkness. The sight made fear enter her veins. Then, she remembered something she learned from NiGHTS. Flight.

"It doesn't matter," she said. It doesn't matter what those nasty nightmares try to throw at me. No matter what, I... I will save NiGHTS!"

She then jumped down and fell to the darkness. Suddenly, before she reached it, however, she began to fly with the Red Ideya of Courage still with her.

"Hang in there just a little longer, NiGHTS! I'm on my way!" (Y/N) said. She then noticed an Ideya Capture with an Ideya inside it. She then flew and smashed through it, getting one of her Ideya back.

'There's gotta be more Ideya Captures here,' she thought. 'If I could get every single Ideya back, I could get the chance to save NiGHTS!'

As planned, she went and broke through every single Ideya Capture and got all of her Ideya back. Then, she saw NiGHTS trapped in the Ideya Palace.

"NiGHTS!" She shouted. She began to fly to them, but a barrier was blocking the way. (Y/N) tried to force her way through the barrier with all of her might. Then, two more people arrived and tried to force their way through as well. (Y/N) looked to see who they were.

"Claris! Elliot!" She said.

"We're not gonna let you do this alone, (Y/N)!" Elliot said.

"NiGHTS did so much for us. Now, it's our turn to return the favor!" Claris said.

The three began to use up their strength to break through. Then, the barrier finally broke, allowing them to get to NiGHTS.

"Everyone! You made it!" NiGHTS said.

"You bet we did!" (Y/N) said.

"Now, let's go take out Wizeman!" NiGHTS said.

Then, a bright light occurred, and all three dreamers were facing... NiGHTS. They then looked down on themselves.

"We're... We're all NiGHTS," Elliot said.

"No way..." Claris commented.

Then, a feeling occurred to (Y/N). "Wait. There's someone watching us," she said.

Suddenly, unknown to them, a silhouette of a giant being with multiple hands appeared. Then, a burst of energy pushed them away. Luckily, thanks to NiGHTS' power, they still pulled through.

"What was that?!" Claris said.

Then, the being appeared in a physical form. A huge entity in a cloak and six hands with an eye on each of them floating around him.

"Wizeman!" NiGHTS said.

"Hold on! That's Wizeman? The guy you told us about?" Elliot asked.

"So, you're still standing, NiGHTS. Quite impressive, but utterly worthless," Wizeman said. The eyes on the hands then looked at the three dreamers. "And you brought the dreamers with you? So, did you enjoy living in the nightmare?"

"Sorry, but these dreamers aren't quite fond of your schematics, Wizeman," (Y/N) said.

"If you haven't gotten your Ideya, you would have never returned already," Wizeman said. "Enough talk. It's time I obliterate you."

He then began to throw fireballs at them. Luckily, NiGHTS and the three dreamers dodged every one while charging at Wizeman, breaking the barrier surrounding him and making the hit. Wizeman turned invisible again and shifted to another area.

After moving, he then started to throw giant frozen ice balls at the three.

"Just what kind of magic does this guy have?" (Y/N) said.

"A lot. Let's keep up the momentum!" NiGHTS said.

The dreamers dodged every ice ball with ease and successfully attacked Wizeman again. Wizeman then switched places again, turning the terrain into a rainy spot. He then sent out a giant tornado.

"Oh, great. How are we supposed to dodge that?" Elliot said.

NiGHTS noticed a gap in the tornado that's splitting it in two.

"Let's move between the gap. We can get closer to Wizeman that way!" NiGHTS said.

Everyone then moved through the gap, much to Wizeman's surprise, and broke through the barrier to hit him again.

"Insolent pests!" Wizeman growled. "I will make sure to eliminate every last one of you!" He then moved places one last time and turned the area into one full of darkness. He then summoned many dark meteorites lined up.

"That's not good..." Claris said.

"We've come this far to give up now," (Y/N) said. "So, even if we get hurt, we have to keep fighting until this battle is over, right?"

Elliot and Claris looked at her and nodded full of determination. They all flew over and under every line of dark meteors until they reached Wizeman. This time, though, Wizeman was trying to push them back, but due to the strength of NiGHTS and the dreamers, it rendered useless. They went through the barrier and made the last hit, defeating Wizeman. Then, suddenly, everything turned white.

*dream end (for real this time)*

(Y/N) opened her eyes and woke up in her room. She looked around and looked at Eve sleeping next to her.

"Was that all a dream?" She asked. "Well, whatever it is, it was fun. Still... I wonder what Elliot and Claris think of it."
