Chapter 63

There stood a new location once the (H/C)‐haired female opened her eyes. It was a strange factory located in a vast desert. There were also giant magnets lying around. The Nightopians and Mepians were also using jackhammers instead of just doing their usual activities.

"Is this some kind of power plant?" (Y/N) said before shaking her head. "No, no. That's not important right now. I have to find Elliot and NiGHTS."

She then turned around and found Elliot running to her. "Speaking of..." she said.

"Hey, (Y/N)!" Elliot said.

"Elliot! Good to see you!" (Y/N) said. "You know what we need to do, right?"

"Of course!" Elliot said.

Then, the Nightmarens took away the two's Ideya towards the Ideya Captures.

"Let's move!" Elliot said.

He and (Y/N) then went to find an Ideya Palace nearby. Luckily, after a short while, they found NiGHTS.

"NiGHTS! Get ready!" (Y/N) said as she and Elliot reached for NiGHTS.

"Gladly!" NiGHTS said as they reached for the visitors' hands and dualized with them.

They then began to fly around to find and destroy the Ideya Captures and take the Ideya back. However, it wasn't easy for them. The magnets that were placed in the area seemed to slow them down. Luckily, with all of their strength, NiGHTS was still progressing well.

"Hey, NiGHTS," (Y/N) said.

"What is it, (Y/N)?" NiGHTS asked.

"How many of Wizeman's best Nightmarens are there?" (Y/N) asked.

"Hmm... How do I put this?" NiGHTS said. "If I'm counting correctly, there should be about six of them so far. There's Gillwing, Puffy, Gulpo, Clawz, and Jackle. That's five. And the last one..." NiGHTS was feeling unsure about mentioning, but had to say the name of the last Nightmaren. "Reala."

"Reala?" Elliot said.

"Yeah. Wizeman's very best Nightmaren," NiGHTS said.

Then, once NiGHTS placed the final Ideya into the Ideya Palace, they were once again shifted into a different area, and the last remaining Nightmaren arrived. Reala. Reala was a Nightmaren identical to NiGHTS, but with a different color scheme and silver skin.

"So, you finally arrived, NiGHTS," Reala said. "Though it took you longer than I expected."

"Reala," NiGHTS said.

"That guy's Reala?" Elliot said. "He looks just like NiGHTS!"

"Could he be... some kind of twin?" (Y/N) asked.

"Yeah. He's... my counterpart," NiGHTS said.

"Your what?!" The two visitors said.

"If you would've had a single bit of knowledge in your brain like I have, you would've made it at the top of our ranks," Reala said. "But instead, you betrayed us and began to side with those pathetic Nightopians." He even took a look at Elliot and (Y/N). "...And even a few visitors."

"So what?! At least NiGHTS has some decency, unlike you!" (Y/N) barked.

"My. It seems that one of them has quite a mouth on them," Reala chuckled. "Perhaps I should eliminate that one personally so that she will learn some manners before I take out the other one."

NiGHTS growled at Reala's threat aimed at (Y/N) and Elliot. "Don't you dare bring them into this!" They said.

Reala smirked. "Touched a nerve there. You seem fond of those two dreamers," he said. "Perhaps I could deliver you to Lord Wizeman before I deal with them!" He then charged at NiGHTS.

"Let's see you try it, then!" NiGHTS before charging at Reala. Then, the battle began.

NiGHTS and Reala charged at each other with their drill spins, only for both them to be knocked away from each other to different sides of the area. They then charged at each, exchanging punches and kicks, blows after blows. 

"Perhaps I was mistaken about your combat prowess, NiGHTS," Reala said. "But that does not mean you won that easily!" He then kicked NiGHTS in the stomach, sending them to the ground.

"NiGHTS!" Elliot said worriedly.

"Are you okay?!" (Y/N) asked.

NiGHTS began to get up. "Y-Yeah... I'm fine," they said.

Then, Reala began to floated downward to where NiGHTS. "How disappointing. I expected more from you since your betrayal, NiGHTS," he said.

NiGHTS  got up after recovering. "Heh. Don't be too sure, Reala. After all, we're only getting started!" They said before doing a paraloop, sending Reala to the floating torches.

"Alright!" (Y/N) cheered.

Reala began to compose himself, trying to recover from the damage he received. "I undersestimated you, NiGHTS. But don't forget that I can do the same!" He said before paralooping.

Lucky for NiGHTS, they moved away at the right time with a drill spin before Reala's paraloop tried something on them, much to Reala's frustration.

"Must you be so difficult?!" Reala growled before charging at his rival with a scratch, but NiGHTS dodged the attack and countered. NiGHTS grabbed Reala by the arm and began to spin him around before throwing him at one of the torches. Reala got up with a frustrated look aimed at NiGHTS.

"What's the matter, Reala? Having a little fit, are we?" NiGHTS taunted.

"... Not yet," Reala said before disappearing with a whoosh, confusing the Nightopian hero.

"Where did he go?" Elliot asked, concerned.

NiGHTS looked around, trying to find the elite Nightmaren. Suddenly, Reala appeared behind them, ready to strike a sneak attack.

"Got you!" Reala said before landing a hit, but it was blocked by NiGHTS. "What?!"

NiGHTS  threw Reala over them to one of the still-lit torches, damaging him until his strength was depleted drastically. He then fell to the ground before NiGHTS flew to him.

"D-Did you do it?" (Y/N) asked.

"I hope so..." Elliot said.

"N-Not bad, NiGHTS... You may have bested me... But you cannot Lord Wizeman from achieving his goal..." Real said weakly. "Soon, y-you'll understand the error of your betrayal..."

"That's fine. Me and the others will stop anything he'll throw at us. Just you watch, Reala," NiGHTS said.

Reala chuckled weakly. "You really don't understand a thing, do you...? Oh, well... You'll understand soon enough..." He said until he finally met his downfall.

"Now, Wizeman is left..." NiGHTS said.

Meanwhile, as the two dreamers were running out, (Y/N) then drifted away from Elliot and NiGHTS. "Reala is the last Nightmaren in line, right...?" She said. "If we defeat him, everything will be back to normal, right? But what's gonna happen then?"
