Chapter 73

3rd Person POV
They now made it to the second segment of the fortress. It was the same as the previous segment, but even more dangerous. As they went into a certain area, there were six open capsules with teleporters.

"What the heck are these capsules doing here?" (Y/N) asked, puzzled.

"There are even teleporters in them, too," Eve said.

"Let's go into one of them and see where they lead," Mega Man said.

They went into one of the capsules and were teleported into a different. Then, someone familiar appeared. It was... Cut Man?!

"Cut Man?!" The three said in unison. Cut Man was unresponsive. Instead, he took the scissors off his head.

"Did Dr. Wily bring his body back to life?" Mega Man said. "Well, whatever the case, we have to stop him!"

They all began to clash with Cut Man, using the same strategies they used on him before. However, this time, the fight with Cut Man was tougher than they originally anticipated. Luckily, they were able to defeat him. Then, they were transported back to the previous area.

"How did Dr. Wily bring Cut Man back? Didn't we already defeat him?" Eve said.

Mega Man started to think, then suddenly came up with a theory. "Wait. If Cut Man came back, then that means the other 5 robots are back, too," he said.

"If that's the case, then we better get ready!" (Y/N) said.

They each went to the other teleporters and fought off the other robot masters. As expected, they were a lot tougher than they originally were. The trio were able to defeat the robot masters in great success. Then, after they were done, a capsule appeared in the middle.

"Is there... another robot?" (Y/N) said.

"Let's find out!" Eve said.

They all went in the transporter and warped to another location, which was the end of the segment. Suddenly, a small airborne robot appeared above Mega Man and started to wrap him in electricity, stunning him.

"Mega Man! Are you okay?!" (Y/N) said with worry.

Then, at the other end of the area, the same mech appeared and shone down a light, making a copy of Mega Man. As soon as the copy process was finished, the two mechs then disappeared.

"Another Mega Man?!" (Y/N) and Eve said in shock.

"So... Dr. Wily was trying to make a copy this whole time?!" Eve said.

Mega Man got up from recovering from the shocks. "Unforgivable!" He said as he started to shoot at the copy. Suddenly, the copy began to shoot back as well.

"We better help out, too!" (Y/N) said.

"Yeah!" Eve said as she and (Y/N) joined in.

Mega Man tried to switch forms to fight, but the copy robot did the same thing. Luckily, (Y/N) changed forms to assist with defeating the copy robot by changing forms that help with the weaknesses. This process continued for a while until the copy robot was destroyed.

"What kind of maniac would think it was a good idea to make a destructive copy?" Eve said.

"I think we all know the answer, Eve," (Y/N) said.

"Yeah. After all, we're only halfway through the fortress until we reach Dr. Wily. Let's keep going!" Mega Man said.
